We are a small business, that is veteran owned, and operated. We specialize in the growing field of Forestry Mulching, which allows us to take over grown property and reclaim it to its usable state. I also offer welding services to those that need that as well. I have been welding professionally for close to 8 yrs. I started as a Pipeline welder and have branched out to doing private custom jobs to each clients specific needs. As a Christian man and Marine Corps Veteran, I base my business values off of honesty and integrity. I believe that any job worth doing, is worth doing right the first time. Having a well thought out plan and executing it, creates a great business model. Not wasting the time and money of our clients, and giving them the job and results they want and expect the very first time, is key! As a business owner, I am always trying to learn new ways of bettering myself and my company. Forestry Mulching has grown tremendously in the past few years, and there are many services available, but having the peace of mind, you have hired the right company for your job needs is always good to have. I would love the chance to earn your trust and your business.

The sprinkler system cost is determined by the size of the lawn and not the size of the house. Many large houses sit on top of very small lots with very little landscaping. Now a sprinkler system should be designed based on your current water needs for the type of lawn and plants that you need to water. The price variation that you may be experiencing is usually due to cutting corners or simply putting up sprinkler heads and having rotors water large areas over sidewalks. Many cut corners by watering turf (grass) and landscape beds. This is not usually recommended as different plants have different water requirements. Many of this practices are outright illegal and any responsible homeowner should not consider this type of installation. 1. Size of the Area Needing Water - More Landscaping will require more stations. The more sprinkler stations needed, the more valves required, the larger the controller need for the installation. Of course, square footage will determine the amount of pipe needed and the amount of digging involved. 2. Water Pressure - Low water pressure results in the need for more sprinkler stations. 3. Location and Accessibility of the Water Meter - Not a big factor for most homes. However, occasionally you run into a situation where the water meter is surrounded by lots and lots of concrete floor. There are only two options to reach the water meter. The first option is to dig. The second option is to demolish the concreted area. Again, this is very rare in a residential sprinkler installation. When investing in a sprinkler system, it is usually best to find a irrigator that follows local laws and best installation practice for the industry. The prices may not be the cheapest but you will usually experience less headaches in the life of the sprinkler system.

Mulch and Topsoil questions, answered by experts

If a big freeze catches you by surprise and you don’t have any deicer to hand, you can reduce the chance of taking a tumble by laying gritty, anti-slip materials. Some natural, readily-available options that don’t melt ice but offer traction underfoot include sand, wood shavings, kitty litter, and fireplace ash.

Durable materials suited for climate include aluminum for coastal areas or composite wood in varying environments for durability and minimal upkeep.

Determine whether you have any other heavy, bulky, or oddly-shaped items you’d like to relocate, such as a washing machine or other appliance. Since many professional moving companies may charge minimum fees for their services, you could end up paying the same cost to move a refrigerator as you would to move the fridge and a second or third item.

Yes, gravel comes in different sizes, from fine powder to pea-, coin-, and even golf ball-size. Pea gravel is about 3/8 inch, while crushed stone gravel is about 3/8 to 4 inches. Most companies use a numerical system to assign a size, with the smallest being #10 and the biggest being #1.

That depends on the number of cubic feet in each bag. Ten 2-cubic-foot bags of mulch will cover 20 cubic feet, while 10 3-cubic-foot bags of mulch will cover 30 cubic feet. Learning how to DIY mulch can save you money and help you repurpose natural items such as wood chips, pine needles, and leaves.
