"The project was top notch! Mr. Martinez came and looked at the job the day before the scheduled date to give an estimate and be sure of supplies need. Due to it being so wet from the recent rain, we both agreed to allow another few days to dry out under the house, When Mr. Martinez arrived to complete the job, he brought all supplies needed. He made the repairs to the underbelly of my double wide trailer, adding insulation to replace the wet, and give better protection, since it is predicted to be another hard winter, repaired the hole with new vinyl material and cleaned up after himself. I brought out the trash can to where he was working and as he cleaned up, he placed everything in the trash so it could be taken out for trash day, This repair is now taken care of and off my mind. Thank you Mr. Martinez for the great job!!"

Trampoline Assembly questions, answered by experts

Many suppliers offer installation services, either directly or through reliable subcontractors. Discuss these needs when ordering, as they may require additional scheduling or payment.

The cost of the materials to build a DIY playground will run you about $700 to $1,000, which could vary based on the type of lumber you choose to use. On the other hand, buying a pre-made playset costs $1,000 to $6,500 or more, and if you choose to have it professionally installed, you’ll pay an additional $330 to $700.

The average cost to install a playground is around $500, with most homeowners spending between $150 and $1,200 on installation labor. The total project cost can range from $500 to $2,500. These prices typically do not include the playground equipment itself, which can cost an additional $100 to $1,500.

Several factors influence the final installation cost:

  • Playset Details: The type, size, material, design complexity, and number of accessories.

  • Site Preparation: Costs may increase if the land needs to be leveled.

  • Yard Accessibility: Difficult access for installers can raise labor costs.

  • Customization: Custom-built playgrounds are more expensive to install than premade kits.

  • Permits: Local permitting fees may apply.

Additionally, remember to budget for playground surfacing, which can cost $15 to $160 per cubic yard, or up to $225 per cubic yard for poured rubber.

Children can become interested in playset activities as young as two years old, and many start to lose interest between ages nine and 12. Backyard playsets can grow and adapt as the children age and playtime interests change.

If you want to know from the outset how much you’re likely to pay to install an outdoor basketball court, create a budget breakdown that lists the following expenses:

  • Labor: How many work hours will you need, and what is the average price of labor in your area?

  • Materials: What material do you plan to use, and what is the average price per square foot?

  • Drainage, grading, and laying cement slabs: Do you need to level or prep your area? Have a professional evaluate your property to determine what you will need to pay a contractor to do this work.

  • Hoops, lighting, fencing, painting lines, and other extras: What extras are non-negotiable? Create a list of all of the extras you want your court to have.
