Recently relocated to Grayson County. We've been serving Texas and other states for 13 years in building ground up commercial buildings, additions, and renovations. We specialize in structural steel fabrication and erection, custom steel fabrication, gates and entryways. We were designing and building Barndominiums before people knew what they were. We do the job right or not at all. We guarantee our work, and we often takeover failing or abandoned projects and get the project completed. We've built and have tore down and rebuilt many very large churches. We've done a lot of historical renovations and dealt woth the historical regulations, etc. We've done a lot of work at The Grandscape in The Colony Tx. We had 3 bids all through Angie's List, one of the companies Granite Outlet II that  we had used before. The other two bids were from Solid Stone Fab. and KAT Fab

Most of the bids were similar, except all of the companies provided different prices for removal, sink cutout, plumbing for rehook-up of sink, and rehooking up stove top.

Granite Outlet II had a plumber in-house. Solid Stone had a recommendation for a plumber and KAT didn't provide a recommendation.

We kept our backslash and KAT was the only company that had an issue with cutting it down if needed. And it was cut to allow for the quartz.

We chose Solid Stone Fabricators because we trusted Claudia to do a good job for us. She was very attuned to our needs and anytime we asked her a question if she didn't already know it she got right back with us. She took good notes and made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. She was very professional and a pleasure to work with. We went to see the where the countertops were fabricated at Solid Stone and we also went to Cambria Quartz in Carrollton and looked at the Quartz we wanted and received large samples there.

They came out and measured and showed up on time, then we scheduled for the install.

The installers showed up at their scheduled time and finished in less then 5 hours. The next morning the plumber came and hooked the sink and stove back up.

Claudia came out a few days later and bought us our extra quartz. its VERY heavy but we wanted to keep it and they also made us a cutting board.

"Stone masters provided great service from beginning to end.  They arrived when they said they would be there. They involved us with the various stages in order to get our approvals, they tore out our old bathroom including a half wall that separated the toilet and the tub from the two sinks.  This opened the bathroom up tremendously.  They tore out the old tile, removed the toilet, and countertop.  They were neat and tidy the whole way through, careful not to stir up dust and debris to other rooms. 
Derek was very communicative and responsive when we had questions.  Walter was a very professional foreman on the job and pleasant to work with.  Stonemasters installed new granite countertops, sinks, new toilet, new tub, new tile on surround as well as on the floor, new paint, baseboards, and installed new fixtures, lighting, the whole thing.  
It took about close to two weeks for completion.  They thought of all the details and we would use this company again for future remodeling jobs.  
It's hard to find reliable, professional remodeling companies that take as much pride in their work than Derek and his team.  Being in the customer service industry, this goes a long way with me when choosing who to work with.  We are very happy of the results and proud of our new bathroom."

"Alex and Geronimo worked on my house for almost 5 weeks. We removed all carpet, tiled all floors with 6x36 wood look tile, filled in a sunken living room with Portland cement and sand screed, replaced all baseboards, and remodeled one bathroom. First off, I was very particular with my thinset and grout components, and Alex is one of the few people in town that knows how to work with epoxy grout, which was a requirement for me. We used Mapei LHT thinset and Laticrete Spectralock grout, which can be very challenging. Geronimo can lay tile with the best out there, and everything is level and looks fantastic with virtually no lippage. In addition to the floor tile, we replaced a fiberglass tub/shower enclosure with a normal tub and surround, and they did an excellent job with my decor tile and regular tile. They rebuilt sheetrock, removed soffits, reinstalled the toilet, and assisted us with getting the vanity and countertop in. All baseboards were caulked at top and bottom. The solution to my sunken living room was excellent, avoiding having to have concrete poured and waiting for a month for it to cure. I truly appreciate all they work they did, and their compassionate service while we dealt with some flooding issues and constant moving the cats around the house. I would not use anyone else for tile, and will be hiring them again to redo the master bathroom, which is the last thing I have left to do. Highly recommended!!"
