Texas Wild Hog Control is fully insured and was established to assist federal and state agencies, counties, Mud Districts, HOAs, school districts, corporations, and private residences with feral hog removal. We are experienced wildlife control experts using the most state-of-the-art trapping methods and tools available on the market. The destructive nature and potential for spreading disease make the feral hog a considerable liability to us, agriculture and livestock. Texas Wild Hog Control was established in 2018 by Edward Dickey who saw a desperate need in protecting not only agriculture but native wildlife in Texas. Edward grew up hunting and trapping on the Gulf Coastal Plains of Texas with his father and worked for a hunting guide service as a teenager. He is an expert with over 35 years of experience dealing with native wildlife and invasive species such as wild hogs.

"Terrible! We have 2 homes in 2 different cities under contract by TruGreen. DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE RENEWING CONTRACT!!!! Very disappointed in customer service, continually trying to upcharge us, unable to speak to a customer service representative, charged us twice in a month more than once, charged us for services not in our contract, unable to communicate with the service department directly/you basically have to call main number and play like you are wanting new services for your home. It’s a JOKE! It’s taking me 3 phone calls to cancel my contract!!! Ridiculous! Read BBB, Yelp and other places for reviews. Their website reviews are FAKE!"

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

Once the animals and their young are out of the house, remove the nest and locate any entry points. Some may be difficult to find because some animals can fit through very small holes. Once you’ve located as many entry points as possible, use materials such as metal or masonry to block off the entry. Ideally, you should choose materials that most animals cannot chew through. Create a one-way door or flap to allow animals to leave but not return. Additional methods include using repellants designed to make an area unappealing to the types of animals that find your home so inviting.

Numerous predators kill hornets, including frogs, birds, lizards, bats, spiders, and hedgehogs. Some larger predators, including rats, skunks, and racoons, will occasionally attack a hornet nest in order to eat the larvae inside. These natural predators typically don’t eat enough hornets to make them an effective form of hornet control.

Birds are often averse to certain strong scents. For instance, the odor of predator urine, such as that from foxes or hawks, can deter them. Similarly, birds may dislike the pungent aromas of garlic, onions, and chili peppers. Essential oils like peppermint, eucalyptus, and citrus can also be effective in keeping birds away. However, it's important to note that individual bird species might react differently to these scents, so it might require some experimentation to find the most effective repellent for your specific situation.

Pest control costs targeting birds and bats typically range from $250 to $800, depending on the severity of the infestation and the complexity of access to affected areas.

Signs include visible nests, droppings, frequent loud noises, or structural damage caused by these animals, indicating a need for pest control intervention.
