"Excellent service from H-Town Chimney. Cleaned the chimney, reworked and updated our gas fireplace, painted fireplace inside and out. Very nice young man who came out. He was pleasant, on time and explained everything. I give them 5 stars and if you need chimney or fireplace work, you should contact H-Town."

"My house is over 50 years old. I have owned it for over 30 years. I doubt if anyone inspected the chimney since it was built. I wanted to convert it from gas to wood burning. As expected, the momager Daniel found some serious problems. Daniel has 15 years' experience was very detailed on what work needed to be done. They were very careful to make sure my house stayed clean while they did the work. His team was very professional and did a great job."

"Luis was awesome! He replaced my water heater, and shut off the gas to my inoperable gas grill. Great job, efficient, kept his work site clean and tidy. I would hire them in a heartbeat as long as I get to request Luis to do the work. He is outstanding."

"Had them replace a toilet I was concerned was leaking sewer gas. Came with an estimate and completed work the same time within an hour. No complaints, they were cordial and had a reasonable price compared to another estimate I got."

Gas Logs FAQs, answered by experts

Yes, most states require a plumber to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations. Check our state licensing tool to review the local plumber guidelines.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification, which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

The most significant benefit of having a gas grill over a propane grill is that you never run out of fuel unless there’s an outage in your area, which is rare. Unlike with a propane grill, you’ll never need to haul tanks back and forth to a local fill station, and you’ll never find yourself unable to use your grill because you forgot to refill your tanks. Gas grills also burn slightly cleaner than propane grills, and natural gas costs significantly less than propane, meaning it’s more affordable to run your grill.

You can maneuver your gas grill into place, but you cannot connect the grill to your gas source yourself. All municipalities mandate that a certified plumber carry out this work, so you’ll have to reach out to a plumber or a gas grill installation company in your area. Given how dangerous a gas leak can be, gas lines and connections are highly regulated, so you’ll need a professional’s help and a permit to install a gas grill.

Yes, you can lay a gas grill flat during transportation. Laying it flat can help prevent it from moving around the truck during the journey. It’s still advisable to secure the grill with bungee cords, just in case.

Depending on the appliance and labor requirements, costs range from $150 to $500.
