"All Service Moving was exceptional. Great customer service - easy to schedule and flexible. Royce & Frost did an AMAZING job moving all of our very heavy and fragile belongings. They handled all of our requests and items with care and worked both efficiently and quickly. They were super friendly and very customer service oriented. I can't thank them enough for the GREAT job they did. I highly recommend All Service Moving for anything moving and/or storage related. And DEFINITELY request Royce & Frost to handle your job. "Working with Heritage owners to plan and quote the move was painless. The owners and moving staff are very professional, thorough and courteous. The moving staff prepped both ends of the move to protect the home doors, walls and floors and handled our items with the utmost care. I highly recommend them to anyone moving their furnishings."

"I recommended this company to a friend since I moved with them before. He called them and they paid him a visit to assess his move. He lived in a small building without elevator thus moving the furniture would be a little complicated. At the end of the day he moved without any issue, his furniture and appliances arrived in destination safe and with no damages. Everything was properly packed and protected. My friend called me and told me his experience gratefully."

"Pack and load was on same day, so it was a long day. I was given a delivery time frame between 3 days after the load to 7 days after the load. Sadly, it did take the full 7 days, and there was some damages to my new floors from the move-in, but overall, the move accomplished what I needed."

Moving questions, answered by experts

Deciding whether it's worth it to hire movers depends on your budget, patience, and physical capabilities. It's difficult to gauge the amount of work that moving calls for, and it's easy to be off by about tenfold.

If you're able to call in some favors and round up friends to help, you might get through it just fine, but if you only have a few hands helping, things can quickly get overwhelming. Either way, bringing in the pros will save considerable time and stress, so if it's within your budget, it's a great investment.

Your furnace rests at the center of one of the most complicated infrastructures in your home. Air intakes, ducts, water, electricity, and sometimes gas connect up to the system. Most of these lines were run to this point specifically to service the furnace, so they’ll need to be closed up and new ones established.  A furnace is almost always connected to the air conditioner, so you’ll probably be moving those components as well.

Moving a furnace a few feet is probably no big deal. Moving it into a different part of the house is a different story.

If you don’t have dividers, wrap each wine glass individually using bubble wrap or packing paper to cushion both the bowl and delicate stem. Secure the wrapping with tape and place glasses upright in a sturdy box, layering soft items like dish towels, crumpled paper, or clothing between them to prevent shifting. Fill any gaps with padding to keep glasses snug, and label the box “FRAGILE–HANDLE WITH CARE” to ensure careful handling.

Moving a shed costs between $200 and $1,000, with a national average cost of $500. The exact cost will depend on the shed size, the move distance, and whether you hire professional movers or tackle the move as a DIY project.

Generally, you should avoid using your car as a storage space if you’re using a shipping company.Your items could get lost or damaged during transport, and most shipping companies won’t cover the cost of damage. Contact the shipping company and ask about their policy ahead of time. Some companies may not allow you to leave anything but necessary paperwork in the car.
