Our portfolio includes waterfalls, dozens of patios, retaining walls, French drains, paths, beds, grading, maintenance and more. We have the ability to supply up to 5-7 Highly skilled workers, or to trim our crew size down to 2 able men. We are not large enough Yet to cover all material cost up front. Depending on the size of the job, we ask for material cost to be paid upon purchase, and 25% of the expected labor cost; Again, depending on the size of the job. If work can be completed within one week's time, there is only material cost up front, and labor cost to be paid upon satisfied completion. Right now, we are giving our get ready for the Holidays promotion, where customer receives 2 Contractor level workers for the price of one ($77.75 per hr.)

"David was highly recommended by Austin Gutter King. We needed our fascia upgraded before having rain gutters installed on our house. He gave us a great estimate and was able to schedule us in a timely manner. He and his crew were very meticulous with attention to detail. He also pointed out some other issues we were having with our siding and chimney. He explained the issues and the proper way to fix them. His workmanship was so good we had him do quite a bit of remodeling on the back of our house where a previous deck had caused water damage to our frame. David is a great carpenter with many other skills as well. All of that and a great personality, he has the full package. We would recommend him highly if you are considering his services."

Concrete Repair questions, answered by experts

Minor slab leaks normally take around three hours to access and fix, provided the leak is in an accessible location. However, a more extensive leak or a leak in a hard-to-reach location can take several days to fix, depending on the resulting damage. You might also want to consider the timeline for the build-back if the leak damages building materials like flooring or cabinets, which can take several weeks, including delivery of the materials.

Yes, it is normal for a block foundation to crack. Some block foundation cracks are more serious than others and indicative of a larger structural problem. On the other hand, minor cracks may not be of immediate concern but should be monitored. Regardless, foundational cracks are not an uncommon response to wear on a structure from time and weather.

A leak under your foundation from a water supply line or sewage line is likely to lead to water pooling on certain areas of your property during rainfall, abnormally fast-growing or green grass in certain sections of your lawn, and differential settlement of your foundation, which can result in large foundation cracks, windows and doors failing to operate properly, a wavy or sloping roofline, or damages or irregularities in your interior walls, including cracks and bulging. If it’s a plumbing line embedded in your slab, you’ll also likely notice above-average water bills.

It depends on the bank and the extent of the issue. Some banks will lend against homes with minor foundation damage, but most won’t if the issue is structural since the home acts as collateral for the mortgage. Banks that offer renovation loans might still finance a home with structural problems. More minor issues like settling cracks and intermittent problems with humidity are unlikely to stop a bank from financing.

Foundation problems are costly to repair, but if you already own the home, you can either handle the issues or allow the property to (literally) sink into disrepair. The opposite is true when buying a home. Walk away if the seller refuses to lower the asking price once foundation issues are exposed or if they refuse to handle the problems before the completion of the sale.
