We are a small but growing maintenance, handyman company. We offer a extremely wide virility of services. If we do not provide the service, we may know someone who does. We have knowledge of a large group of General and Sub Contractors. Payment of our jobs depends on the project. Very small project usually payment that day and larger jobs payment are agreed upon prior to start of project. We may take credity cards in the future but not at this time.

Classic Copper Works uses time honored German copper smith techniques handed down from father to son and passed on to our highly skilled artisans. We specialize in the fabrication of custom copper & bronze products and other metal specialties. WE DO NOT OFFER REPAIR SERVICES OF ANY KIND. Additional phone number - (888) 908-5339.

"Ordered and paid for custom awning that was to take 5 weeks. Its now been 16 weeks and still waiting. Owner is at best noncommunicable and at worst, rude. I'm now wondering if this is a scam and not a real business."

Chimney Caps questions, answered by experts

During roofing projects in Beaumont, homeowners often encounter unexpected costs such as repairing water-damaged decking, upgrading attic ventilation to meet local code, and disposing of old roofing materials per city guidelines. The Beaumont Building Division may require code updates if deficiencies are found. After storms, emergency tarping or temporary repairs can also add to project complexity, so it's wise to anticipate these possibilities.

Helpful?

In Beaumont, common mistakes include selecting roofing materials not rated for hurricane conditions, neglecting proper attic ventilation, and failing to address drainage needs. Skipping required permits or not following Beaumont Building Division regulations can result in insurance complications. Attempting DIY repairs without expertise or using substandard materials often leads to safety hazards and more extensive repairs later, according to local building authorities.

Helpful?

For roof replacement or major repairs in Beaumont, a permit from the Beaumont Building Division is required. The process involves submitting a detailed application, contractor credentials, and proof of insurance. Both pre- and post-construction inspections are standard, as outlined by the City of Beaumont Building Codes. After severe weather, additional inspections may be mandated by local authorities to ensure compliance and safety.

Helpful?

In Beaumont, roofing projects benefit from materials that withstand high humidity, heavy rainfall, and hurricane-force winds. Metal roofing is highly recommended for its wind resistance and longevity, while architectural asphalt shingles are popular for their durability and algae resistance. For homes with strong framing, clay or concrete tiles offer excellent heat resistance. The Beaumont Building Division also advises using enhanced gutter systems to manage frequent downpours.

Helpful?

Regular maintenance for roofs in Beaumont includes annual gutter cleaning, inspecting for algae or moss growth, and checking flashing and attic ventilation. After heavy storms, promptly assess for missing shingles or wind damage and document issues for insurance claims. The Beaumont Building Division recommends trimming overhanging branches and monitoring attic spaces for leaks to prevent long-term structural or moisture problems.
