"I made the appointment two days ago and was promised a time slot of today between 11am to 1pm, with a call before arrival.  At 1030 am I received the call and 15 minutes later, the plumber (Josh) and his assistant (they were coming from a major repiping job, hence there were two of them) arrived and began work. Josh's assistant began work on the hose bib while Josh evaluated the faucet repair.  
Josh informed me that I might be able to get Moen to provide free parts by mail, but I told him I'd prefer to have him go ahead and replace the part now.  Fortunately, he had the part on his truck and proceeded to disassemble the faucet, replace the damaged cartridge, and put everything back together.  Josh worked quickly but carefully, and the repair was done in about 30 minutes.
The best words to describe the encounter:  thoroughly professional.
At my request, Josh also gave me useful details on their piping replacement services.  I will be requesting an estimate from them for a complete replacement of our house's 30-year-old galvanized piping with PEX tubing.

"DAV Construction was hired to replace a damaged roof and gutters. They did a professional job of discussing the bid with me. However, this was more than a roofing job. I had an issue with water seeping through my second floor brick that continued to damage my interior and patio cover. We all thought it was a poor trim installation. The following Tuesday they returned and installed a drainage system for our backyard with three catch basins and run off into the street. We called Scott Barker, the owner, originally to re-texture the ceiling in the living, dining and kitchen of our second home in Bayou Vista.
