"To be honest Im dealing with a complicated district and I was kind of frustrated that my project was handed off to a new person but Raegan Hammon was the most patient, kind, professional and efficient Architect I have ever had the pleasure 🙏 of doing business with. Thank you for placing my project in her very capable hands. Forever grateful Leilee Keppard [*** Link removed ***]"

"We are grateful we chose Charles and Infinite Construction to build a large deck for our house. We talked to several contractors and received several quotes. Charles stood out due to his responsiveness, pricing transparency and ability to partner on design collaboration. We had a lot of ideas going into this process – and we believe we got to the right design – because we were able to work with Charles. He was great to work with, and so was his whole team. He was true to his timeline and very efficient. We plan to work with him on future projects (a patio for a different part of the house)."

"It went wonderful. They did a great job! They did what they said they would do and finished in a timely manner. They worked consistently and efficiently. They were very responsive to what I wanted and everything was extremely well done. They were really friendly as well! I have already hired them again for some other projects and I would highly recommend him to others."

Architects questions, answered by experts

While towers and turrets are frequently present in Queen Anne-style houses, these design elements are not necessary for a home to be considered a Queen Anne. Turrets and towers add visual interest and unique interior spaces, but many Queen Anne homes do not contain these features.

As with most large-scale home renovation projects, you’ll need an architect to map out the exact layout and specs of your above-garage room, which is required in many municipalities. Some general contractors will serve as your architect, or they may bring on a residential architect to assist with the plans.

Start by researching local contractors with experience in cottage construction. Ask for references, check licensing and insurance, and review completed projects. Compare multiple bids, making sure each includes the same scope of work. A good contractor will communicate clearly, provide a detailed contract, and ensure all work meets code and safety standards.

A home elevator is a fantastic way to improve your home’s accessibility. Elevators allow anyone, even those who use wheelchairs or walkers, to safely move between floors within your home.

Dumbwaiters may allow you to move items up and down floors, and stair lifts can move people up and down, but elevators are the best option if you need space for people, their belongings, and/or mobility aids such as wheelchairs.

That said, home elevators cost more than other options, such as stair lifts. Consider your needs and your budget when deciding the best way to make your home more accessible to a person with a disability or a person who is aging in place.

Utilize CAD software for precision, modern design visualization, and alterations.
