"Have water heater that would not stay lit. To add to it the person who owned the home prior to me had stripped the hole where the thermo couple was installed. Johnathan from Shreiner Plumbing had to replace the entire control unit since the unit itself had that portion stripped. He went to Lowe's to pick up the unit returned promptly and replaced the unit very quickly (about 30 minutes) after attempting to light the unit he noticed that flames were shooting out of the air intake on the bottom of the water heater. At that point he told me the unit needs to be replaced. They will be here Monday to replace the unit. Thus far it has been a great experience and I would highly recommend them in the future. I will post again when they complete the water heater replacement. Since I have F.A.H.B the entire system replacement will only cost me $100. He came back a second time to uninstall software that I purchased that did not provide adequate protections and installed free software that would do the job.  He did the work through remote connection, but is available on site if necessary.
