"I previously used the company for their window film capabilities and had an excellent experience. Once I found out that they were doing power washing, I wanted to try them out again based on my previous experience; and they did not disappoint! The employees were very professional, knowledgeable and overall pleasant. I would highly recommend anyone giving them a try. If I could give a higher grade, I would."

"Alex is a sincere and dedicated entrepreneur. Of course, I have never met or seen him before. When setting up my new business, I looked into business owners related to his field through the Angis list. He was the first to contact me, and he was the most proactive in understanding my needs. He arrived punctually on the scheduled day without a single delay. He demonstrated incredible professionalism in his work and possesses the thoughtful communication skills that clients require. I believe this stems from his good character and personality. Throughout the entire time he was working, I felt as if I were chatting and laughing with a childhood friend I had known for a long time, deeply sharing and understanding each other's lives. Before I go off-topic, I want to say this: If you value privacy or protection for your home or business windows, I highly recommend contacting Alex. He will prove through his work that your choices are reliable and trustworthy."

"The process was professional. Called for an appoitment and the sales rep called to set up an appointment. He arrived and spent 30-45 minutes going over the house, then the options for tinting including using samples large enough to give us an idea of the effect. We went with two levels due to the sun and the view from the street. Darker on the sides and back of the house lighter on the street side. The lighter is barely noticeable from the street but does the job well. In addition to cutting down heat and glare we liked the idea that the film gives the windows a bit more strength if they are hit by wind/branches or bad guys. The single workman arrived on time and spent nearly the entire day installing the film. He was very professional, neat and pleasant and there were a lot of windows to do. We have noticed the difference quickly as the back of our house is nearly all glass. Also without the direct sunlight the AC doesn't come on as often. Very pleased."

Window Tinting questions, answered by experts

Solar screens reduce glare and block UV rays, which may slightly dim natural light and alter the view from inside. However, most homeowners find the trade-off worthwhile for improved comfort and energy savings. The impact depends on the screen’s color and density, with darker screens blocking more light but providing enhanced glare reduction and privacy.

The most popular tint percentage for home windows is 35%. Generally, most homeowners choose a visible light transmission (VLT) between 50% and 35%, where lower numbers mean less sunlight enters the home. A 35% tint blocks over half the incoming light while still allowing plenty of natural light, which can improve energy efficiency and comfort. If privacy is a primary concern, you can opt for a tint of 50% or lower to make it more difficult for people to see inside. However, keep in mind that very dark, thick tints may offer fewer energy-efficiency benefits.

Unlike cars, there are no laws regulating window tint percentages on homes, so you can choose what you think is best. It is often a good idea to hire a professional, as they can show you samples of how different tint levels will look in your specific property, helping you make the right choice.

Do not use Windex or any glass cleaner when applying window film. These products contain ammonia, which will damage the film. Instead, use the application solution provided with the installation kit. If there is no solution, make your own using 1 teaspoon of baby shampoo and a gallon of bottled water.

Typically, triple-pane windows made with krypton gas filling are the most energy efficient. A window’s frame, glass, design, and installation all affect its energy efficiency. These windows, in particular, are designed highly effectively in terms of their ability to insulate.

Energy-efficient windows are judged on their performance according to a few different factors, including heat transfer, air leakage, light transference, and condensation resistance. If you're unsure whether a window is energy-efficient, look for an ENERGY STAR® label from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). If various products, including windows, meet energy-efficiency standards set by the federal government, the EPA issues this label to help consumers identify energy-efficient products.
