Hello here with Keebs Enterprises, I offer a variety of services within the contractor field. Such as, home remodels, small builds, odds and ends, your honey-do list, installs, etc. I've been doing this full time for 3 years, prior to that I did home remodeling for a hobby, with helping friends make their ideas become reality with their construction needs. I'm also willing to make sure the customer always saves themselves money in the long run and the service that they genuinely deserve!!

We cut trees at low price. Got a small, maneuverable bucket truck (Ford F450) with a 34 ft reach (little more than 3 stories up). $180 first hour, $120/hr after that. Daniel

Lawns questions, answered by experts

Yes, after the lawn is overseeded post-aeration, most of the seed germinates in the aeration holes. This leaves the soil undisturbed while lush and healthy grass will grow in the holes' place. The point of this is to create extra turf density in areas that really need it, such as a large patch of dead grass where a shed used to be.

Aerate during the growing season, typically in spring or fall, when grass can quickly recover.

Short answer: yes. Although aeration is beneficial for most lawns and soil types, if it’s done too frequently, you can weaken the grass’s roots so much that they’ll begin to have trouble. Generally, most lawns can be aerated as infrequently as once every one to three years, although those with more foot traffic and compaction may benefit from aeration up to twice yearly.

It depends on the current health of your lawn. Liquid aeration takes longer to work, but the results are longer lasting. Since you can apply the liquid solution several times during the course of the growing season, the results are cumulative. Core aeration, on the other hand, will offer quicker benefits but they will diminish sooner, right along with the soil plugs left behind.

Treating dry soil can bring back a dormant lawn, but not a dead one. After nurturing a dry lawn back to proper moisture levels, you should closely observe whether your grass revives with the soil. If not, you may need to reseed your lawn or start fresh with new turf.
