"This tree is a huge oak tree and his team came in and topped it like it was nothing. I would hire him if I ever need any tree service. Very professional and easy to work with. Very reasonable on price too."

"Omar, Tony and their crew did a fantastic job removing the trees and grinding the stumps. They showed up as scheduled and immediately went to work, they removed some items around the yard that could have been damaged during the removal process. Once the job was completed, they made sure all of the small debris was cleaned up. This was the second time we have used them and would recommend them highly. I wish some of my neighbors would use them instead of using their lawn crews which usually butcher the trees and leave a mess. They may know how to mow lawns but know nothing about how to properly trim trees."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

If your palm tree has spots on the leaves, rotting buds, or is beginning to turn yellow, then you have a sick tree on your hands. You should contact a palm tree specialist to identify the problem and help treat the tree if possible. Preventing diseases and pests is key to a healthy palm tree, and it's essential to take action as soon as possible if your tree is showing signs of being sick.

For Bradford pears, damage from storms is common, and if the trunk splits, it can pose a danger to people and surrounding structures. The best thing to do in that instance is to have the tree removed. If there’s only minor damage to the branches, pruning away the damaged parts is the first order of business. You may also want to consult a professional arborist to make sure the tree is healthy.

Costs range from $500 to $5,000 per tree, depending on size, location, and accessibility.

Not all evergreen conifers need to be pruned, but some do. Pruning pine trees is not necessary, but you can do so during June and July if you wish. On the other hand, spruce, firs, and junipers do need to be pruned from late winter to early spring.

You can find pruning paints and sealants for trees, but you shouldn’t use them on a topped tree. Coatings like these often inhibit the tree’s healing process. An important exception is if there are dangerous fungi nearby that the tree is particularly vulnerable to, like oaks and oak wilt. Sealing cuts can help prevent fungi from taking root.
