"The company was prompt to respond to my original request for service. I thought that I would just need to have the septic tank emptied. I was told that the field lines needed to be replaced, and that possibly the septic tank would also have to be replaced. They did the work soon after the request. The quality of their work was very low. Here are the problems 1. They did not return the yard to previous state as promised. The original work including reseeding was completed in early March 2019. a month later I called and told them that the grass had not grown and that the area where they had worked was uneven. They then said that this was normal and they would come back and refill in the area. 2. When they refilled in the area they dug up several rocks. They removed some of them and placed them along my fence, near my garden area and other places they did not belong. They did a terrible job of leveling and filling in the area. It was almost worst than when they started. 3. I called several times and talked to Roger. He kept saying that he would come and take a look and get the problem taken care of. Finally he sent another person to report to him what the job looked like. I never heard back from Roger, so I called and left a message. Finally after several calls he returned my call and said that he would come on Thursday around 10:00 AM. He never showed up. I have also tried to get to talk to Jeff about the situation and the office assistant never gave the message to Jeff, or he does not care about the quality of work that his people perform. 4. There was another job that Roger had given me a quote on when he was originally working on the Septic system. He gave me a quoted offer and I said that would be fine. He said he would return next week to do the job and never showed up. 5. The last time I called Roger I told him that the septic tank area near the house had a leak and smelled terrible. He told me that this was normal. He never came to inspect. (I have checked and this is not normal despite what he thinks.) 6. It is going to cost me approximately another $1,200 to get my yard into decent shape thanks to the poor quality of their work. 6.In addition, the man who mows our yard hit a large exposed rock and it broke the mower blade. he has a large, commercial type mower, and had to pay to have the blade replaced. He now refuses to mow that part of the yard because of the rocks which were left on the surface.8.On the second attempt to complete their job they removed my raised garden, and raspberry plants which were in in a different area than the line fields."

Gas Leak Repair questions, answered by experts

Renovation projects that require moving a gas-powered appliance may also require moving the gas line that supplies it. The cost to move a gas line falls between $375 and $750 and will depend on how far the line needs to be moved, the cost of the permits, and how much excavation is needed, along with other factors.

Venting a gas water heater out of the roof is preferable in most cases. Heated exhaust gases naturally rise, so a vertical vent pipe is efficient. If you’re trying to vent through a pipe exiting a wall, the angle of the pipe may be more horizontal than vertical, making the venting system less effective. If you go through a wall, you may need to add a fan to ensure a successful expulsion of the gases outdoors.

Yes, you can store a propane tank, whether it is full or empty. Remember that the container is contaminated with hazardous materials once it has housed propane, but as long as it’s properly placed in a well-ventilated, temperature-controlled space, a tank is unlikely to cause issues whether it is full of propane or not.

It's not hard to replace a gas line, but it requires a pro’s knowledge and expertise. Replacing a gas line becomes more time-consuming and costly if you need to excavate the area to access a gas line underground.

Common signs of gas line leaks include a rotten egg smell, hissing sounds, dead plants around the area of the leak, and unexplained physical symptoms like dizziness and nausea. If you notice any of these signs, act immediately. Shut off the gas supply to your home and call a pro to assess the situation.
