  Let me begin by saying that I have been on the hunt for a local nursery full of quality plants & people who know what they are doing. I am a Master Gardner helping swap out my parent's landscaping with a beautiful but edible landscaping. With this in mind, I visited Galloway Farm Nursery on a whim & it didn't meet my expectations-- it EXCEEDED them! Mike, the horticulturalist there, answered every single one of my questions & found plants to help serve all the needs I had walking in there. Was super sweet, patient & listened, which is rare in Miami, lol. He did an amazing job helping me find what would work best & knew exactly what he was talking about. I learned a lot!! Besides there being really unique types of fruiting trees and edible plants/herbs, there were some really beautiful landscaping non-edible plants there too! I'm probably going back again this week, because I'm obsessed!show more

  They were prompt. Kept me informed of schedule and once on-site, did an outstanding job. Had the right equipment and knowledge of what needed to be done. Cleaned up after job and accomplished exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend.

  Tara the architect was great to work with. She was very good at understanding what our goals were and implementing them. The plans and drawings were gorgeous. The actual install was done by Cade and his crew. They were professional, detailed and super skilled. He also did the lighting installation and had to drill through my stairs and it was beautifully and seamlessly done. We planted in the winter and due to those two big freezes we lost some plants, GOB pulled them out and are replacing them this fall. Everything is growing and looks gorgeous. The garden center's work with my planters is gorgeous. I have three out front and two out back. I look forward to doing more projects with them in the future. It is hard to get to them as they are busy, so expect a lot of lead timeshow more

  My yard looks great. I am very pleased with how it turned out. The workers took out all the existing bushes and extended the bush bed to my instructions. Roger laid out the position of all the bushes and they planted them. Then they came back later with pine straw to mulch. They are very helpful in answering all my questions about how to care for my new bushes. I will be using them for any future needsshow more

  Mike's plan was excellent and I would highly recommend his services. He did an excellent job of considering all important aspects of our site--lighting conditions throughout the day, privacy/screening issues, heat/drought tolerance and shade tolerance, bloom times, fragrance, aesthetics, etc. Mike was careful to use lower maintenance plants to keep the design realistic for us. He also incorporated a lot of edible fruiting plants, which was a plus. There were one or two things that I questioned about his design when I first saw it, but once the plants were in the ground I realized what a great eye he has for design. We wanted a naturalistic landscape that looked sylvan without being untidy, disorganized, or overgrown the way many "naturalistic" yards look. We got exactly what we wanted and it looks fantastic. We love looking out the window and sitting out in our tranquil yard! We had previously paid two other landscape designers to draw plans for our yard and both of those plans contained glaring flaws, such as using plants that need full sun in areas of our yard that are in deep shade. Also, the other landscapers could not appreciate or understand that we did not want linear, symmetrical plantings of the same old boring laurel, monkey grass, holly, boxwood, knock-out rose, nandina, etc. They wanted to force their ideas on us instead of listening to what we wanted. Mike was great at listening and incorporating our ideas. Mike has a fantastic knowledge of native plants and a great eye for design and I would highly recommend his services. His plants are also very high quality. Using native plants, you can landscape in a way that requires less watering and diminishes the need for pesticide or chemical fertilizer. You also provide host plants for native butterflies, birds, bees, and other beneficial insectsshow more

  They have a lot of employees who are well trained. They are very knowledgeable in different areas and they answer any questions you have. Lester the owner’s puts in the effort to improve the store and space. They keep the area clean and take good care of the plants. It is a nice place to go where the people are really friendly and helpful. They only bad thing here is probably they are pricier than other placesshow more
