"It went well. I had had Foster Electric some out initially to give me an estimate for installation of ceiling lights in our living room and kitchen as we had no real lighting except for lamps, and that was not great. I had been thinking recessed-type ceiling lights, and had them choose the lights. Scott and Stephen arrived as scheduled and put in some 6 inch LED lights that are technically recessed lights but look flush with the ceiling. They installed 11 lights in the living room and 4 lights in the kitchen, each with 900 lumen each, adjustable from 2700K to 5000K color temperature (soft white to daylight), I went with bright white 3500K and they are quite bright and I also had them placed on a dimmer so the intensity can be adjusted. They used an interesting dimmer switch which is invisible (I can't see it) and located adjacent to the on/off switch. I'm very pleased with the results and it took less than one day to install. I have used Foster Electric before several times and always had great results and is why I used them again. I plan already on using them again in the near future. I highly recommend them."

"Seth and his team are a fantastic group of people. We have had them out on several projects and every time has been a pleasant and professional experience. They communicate clearly about what needs to be done and work in a timely manner to get the job finished. I highly recommend them for any work related to electrical, lighting, and beyond."

"They were quick and efficient and found several issues with our wiring. They installed a light in our shower and updated our smoke and CO2 alarms."

"Everything turned out fine. When it first arrived, it was damaged in the shipping. It took them quite a while to get something back to us, or even to call me back when I wrote to them. But then, once they got the ball rolling, it went very quickly. It took them probably about a month to even get back to me. The price was very good. Once somebody actually did speak with me, they were very responsive. They were pretty professional when I spoke to them. I just think that they were light on manpower."

"Embark is a company I would highly recommend without hesitation. The electricians arrived exactly on time, were very professional and completed project in a timely manner. They provided expert opinions and advice and were respectful and kind. The yard is now lighted with little stress from this home owner. They cleaned up their work area cleaned when done. Cost was as quoted. Would use Embark again if needed and recommend to friends."

"     In order to complete to layout design I submitted a drawing of the room as well as a series of photos.  The website for Homemade design has a questionaire what helps define your overall tastes in design.  I joined Pinterest and started boards for furniture, lighting, bookshelves which were reviewed.  Homemade design comes to New York periodically to meet with clients not in the Boston area and this gave us a chance to meet and select furniture and upholstery at the New York Design center.  This is an extra charge but well worth it since I was completely overwhelmed.  They were extremely patient and guided me through the process.  At one point I decided to move the television which turned out to be a bad idea -- they explained why it would not worked and I concurred competely after I understood the reasons.  So, they are not afraid to tell you if you going down the wrong road. I live in a New York City townhouse and forget that I do not have a whol lot of space even though my house is huge for NYC. So, I had to be told how to "scale" everything to the space we had to work with, which was helpful
I purchased the service several months ago but was not ready to actually decide on the actual purchases until recently. So, the delay in completion is because of my schedule.  I now hope to finish everything by September.
