Carter Clean, LLCWhile the cleaning of the gutters was well done, the downspouts were not done. This was our main reason for contracting with Clean Co. We called to have them come out to discuss issues & Alex did come and meet with us. However, they were to be here this morning to clean out the downspouts; have not shown up—no phone call from them & no response to message left. UPDATE: Service technician did show up albeit 2 hours later and without notification. (therefore the previous review). He once again jetted water through downspouts and did as much as equipment permitted. The owner has checked back to see if we are satisfied and to request an updated review. We have no qualms at all with the pricing or the cleaning of the gutters.- Selene H.

Newton, HomeownersI made an appointment on 7/2 for 7/6 at 12:00 P.M. with Able Pressure Washing. Kent ?, owner, did not show up or call. I called him and he told me he was out of town and couldn't make it. I told him I would have appreciated a call since I cancelled an appointment to be available on the date and time he scheduled. We set another appointment for 7/7 at 9:00A.M. By 10:00A.M., I called yet again and no answer. I texted a message, no response. Just after 10:00A.M. I saw a man holding a black bucket in my front yard. When I questioned him, he told me he'd already done the gutters in the back of the house. He didn't even bother to ring our door bell or knock to tell us he was here! When I questioned him as to why, he said that's the way he works - well, I find that strange - but okay at least he showed up... As for the quality of his work - I found it to be a good job.- Edward N.

Tomas from TM Projects WNC did a great job all-around on an assortment of badly needed fixes. These included installing flashing around a leaky chimney (leaking stopped), installation of a new ceiling fan (ruined by leak), removal of an old and very heavy window AC unit that was no longer needed, and a complete rehab of a deck that needed some replacement of joists and planks and a thorough pressure-washing and staining. All of this was done with courtesy, professionalism and very fair pricing. Tomas works very hard, is thorough and meticulous in his work, and everything went smoothly. He seems to have expertise in almost every category of home repair and construction. He is timely, responsive, and follows-through on all aspects of communication and timing. I hope to hire him again for the next couple of projects. Highly recommended.

I can't say enough good things about this company. First my daughter discovered a really bad leak in the back of her bedroom, I found VPR Roofing on Angie's List, called and Linda had some guys come that afternoon and tarp the roof. They all came back within a week and replaced the entire roof. The roof now looks fantastic and it will enhance the value of the property. The guys working were excellent, very professional, polite, responsive and they cleaned everything up, didn't leave a nail. They are the best! I was a little hesitant at first given my previous experience with a contractor who was not good and did not live up to the "word of mouth referral" on some other projects around the house. I would highly recommend them to everyone needing a new roof or just needing some repairs!

I went through Lowe's for this job and they contracted Erwin Aluminum to do the work. 2 weeks after my 1-year warranty ended with Lowe's, I had my gutters cleaned and was told that there was some water in one end of the gutters above my garage. I called Lowe's and they refused to touch it because my 1 year warranty was up. I called Erwin Aluminum, who were the installers, and explained to them that Lowe's would not help me and they came right our and fixed the problem. I was very impressed because they did not have to do that. Now I recommend Erwin Aluminum to anyone who needs gutter work done. I've even used them a second time to repair a leaky seam in my gutters on the back of the house. They really know what they are doing and are such nice people.
