After several years working in the electrical/HVAC field Crowell Electric was founded in early 2011 with the goal of being a full service, customer friendly Electrical/HVAC Mechanical contracting company. We currently have eight employees and cover a work area that spans the majority of TN and AL. We do not see any project as too small or large and treat all with the same level of preparation and professionalism. Dryer vent cleaning starts at $75.00 - depending on the situation. Air duct cleaning is priced by how many registers & returns you have- call for quote. Chimney cleaning depends on what you have & where you are located - starting at $155. We service all of West Tenn; Northeast Mississippi; & the Caruthersville, Mo area. And they even let you note on your account when you have a preferred technician you’d like (which I, of course, listed as Matthew). You can maneuver your gas grill into place, but you cannot connect the grill to your gas source yourself. All municipalities mandate that a certified plumber carry out this work, so you’ll have to reach out to a plumber or a gas grill installation company in your area. Given how dangerous a gas leak can be, gas lines and connections are highly regulated, so you’ll need a professional’s help and a permit to install a gas grill.

There isn’t a way to convert electric fireplaces easily or cheaply to gas. The process requires major renovations, as opposed to wood fireplaces, which are often already vented and have space for the gas-burning equipment. To convert an electric fireplace to gas, you’d need to remove your old fireplace and get a completely new install.

The right way to vent a gas water heater is to have a pipe directly upward or slopes upward out of the house. Because hot air naturally rises, this type of venting will efficiently ensure that all gas moves out of the house. Your system may rely on fans or blowers as well.

Costs depend on material, labor, gas line setup, and custom design elements.

In most cases, a gas stove should be installed by a licensed plumber. Connecting gas appliances carries many risks, chief among them a fatal gas leak. If your home is already set up with the proper gas hookups, you may be able to DIY the installation (or save money by hiring a local handyperson or basic appliance installer near you rather than a plumber). If you’re ever in doubt, however, we recommend going with a professional master plumber.
