You can also make a small cut to the top of the board before flipping it and cutting it from the backside. To reglue the countertop, you’ll need to use contact cement intended for laminate countertops and apply a thin layer below the peeled area. Lay a heavy object, like a book, over the area while the contact cement dries to prevent it from re-lifting.
