"This local business does excellent work, is very conscientious about showing up on time, took good care of our home, and they are very knowledgeable about animals & every aspect of excluding all animas and blocking their entry points. We had red wasp nests, rodents, and a possum. Now the house is secure! They work fast and are reasonably priced. Thank you!"

"We first contacted them about a few months ago. They came out and set some traps and we never really got anything. So we went ahead with the second plan which cost us about $1000 to get stuff put up all over the house, but we still have critters. So, now they have done the last thing that they said that they could do. It is still covered because they said that it would guarantee the price that we agreed for a year. I felt that it should have been 3 years for that price. One thing that I wasn't real happy about was that there was a little bit of over sale of what they could do when I made my original contact with them. We were hearing noises in between the walls of our house and not only in the attic. They told me that they knew exactly what was going on in my house when I called them, but they said that they couldn't make out what was going on when they came out. So, we are waiting to see as to what the process is and we have decided to pay a part of the money until our house becomes free from critters. They are currently in my house doing the work and they keep coming back when I call. We have already paid them $350 for the first contact. The price for putting up flashing in between the roof and the siding of the house is $1100. They have been pretty responsive except for once when they didn't come for a couple of days when I contacted them. They are punctual, as they come when they say that they are going to come. Most of the guys have been pretty professional. I have to wait and see as to how it turns out. I would continue to use their services in the future too."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

Yes, bats can cause quite a bit of damage to the attic. Their weight and movement from flying around can damage insulation, and they can chew through wiring and the walls. As if this isn’t enough, they leave their droppings throughout, which carry harmful bacteria and is dangerous for humans to breathe in, not to mention the extremely foul-smelling odor.

Some animals, such as bats or birds, will be able to get out of chimneys on their own since they can fly. Other animals, however, may have a harder time and will require the help of a professional to escape. Squirrels and raccoons in particular may become stuck inside a chimney, especially if you have a buildup of soot or creosote inside. This can prevent them from being able to climb out, in which case you’ll need to call an animal control expert to help remove them.

Small amounts of geese are actually good for the environment. They help spread seeds and lead to more plant growth, but they’re often an invasive species, particularly Canadian geese. This means a small gaggle can quickly grow into a level that litters your lawn with bald patches and excrement.

Yes, predator decoys work to keep birds away, at least temporarily. However, if the decoy remains motionless in the same spot for a long enough time, the birds will eventually wise up and realize it's a fake. Keep changing the location of the predator decoy to ensure that the birds keep their guard up and maintain their distance.

Some of the plants listed above, like daffodils, are poisonous to many animals if eaten. But wild animals instinctively avoid them, for the most part. Household pets don’t always have the same survival instinct, which is why it’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with common plants that pose a danger to cats and dogs.
