They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. "They replaced the garage roof at my home. It took forever to hear from them once we signed the contract. The Roof itself looks great. They kind of just showed up whenever the mood struck. No specific times were ever given, even after they told us they were coming to do the roof. The price was not what was agreed upon in the contract. I called & asked if it was possible to have an approximate date (even within a week) when they were coming & they flat out said "No". Most of the roofers did not speak English, so that was a problem. They did not do a good job of cleaning up after themselves. If I had not looked in the driveway after they left, I would have run over a nail!! There were also other stray nails on the sidewalk & in the grass. They did not do a very good job of cleaning up the whole area. They were great until they got the contract signed... then not so great."

Traditionally, you place a layer of ⅜-inch foam board beneath aluminum siding. This gives you a smooth surface to which you can fasten the trim and siding. Beneath the foam board, you should have some kind of waterproof sheathing to further protect your home from water damage. It’s possible this sheathing is already under your current siding.
You should install your cedar shake siding with the rough side exposed. The smooth side is less resistant to weathering over the years, and the rough side gives your home a more rugged aesthetic. The rough side also takes to paint better and ensures any paint job will last longer before needing to be redone.
While vinyl is the less expensive option, composite siding has been known to be more durable than vinyl. In addition, because it is made from recycled materials, it is a more ecologically-friendly choice. Composite siding is also more luxurious looking and comes in a much wider range of styles and colors.
The telltale signs that your home is ready for repointing include visibly damaged bricks, crumbling bricks, flaking bricks, loose mortar, cracked mortar, gaps between brick and mortar, leaking inside your home, and visible water damage. You cannot install clapboard siding on a bare, unprepared surface. Clapboard siding requires a clean, sturdy base made from plywood or similar materials, sometimes called backerboard. Then, it needs an underlayment or sheathing, a moisture membrane to help protect the exterior wall.
Note that sometimes clapboard siding is caulked as it’s installed for additional protection. We don’t suggest this: Caulking the siding can trap moisture inside the clapboards and lead to moisture damage over time. The siding needs some space to “breathe,” especially in rainy weather.
