"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

Try motion-activated lighting; it scares off potential intruders by lighting up when someone gets too close. Strengthening your window glass with impact-resistant security film can also deter forced entry. A dependable home security system with window sensors and cameras offers real-time monitoring and alerts for added protection. Lastly, fostering good relationships with neighbors can establish a supportive community watch network, enhancing your home's safety.

It is legal to put bars on windows in most places, but it depends on the type of bars you choose and the regulations in your area. For example, there are building codes in Mississippi, California, and Texas that forbid the use of permanently closed burglar bars on windows due to concerns about people getting trapped inside during fires.

Yes, many providers offer reinforced steel, fire-rated, and electronic access doors for businesses.

In addition to a doorbell camera, you can upgrade your home’s security with several different features. Backyard security, for instance, may include a mix of security cameras, lighting, and fencing. Additional security cameras around your property, as well as a total smart security system with an alarm connected to your smartphone, are also advisable. This could well be worth the cost for the peace of mind alone, but home security systems also lower home insurance costs.

There are ample home security options available today outside of just window bars. Depending on your location, home’s layout, and needs, one or more types of home security systems may be necessary. You could consider doorbell cameras, motion-sensor flood lights, or window and door sensors. And in some cases, you may qualify for homeowners insurance discounts when you install one or more.
