I would not recommend due to the lack of communication and time management, I was scheduled for for an early appointment and no one showed, after I called it was pushed multiple times after that. I did agree to the price, but after consulting others I paid way too much for what was done. When it came time for the gentleman to collect payment you bet he was ontime, even a bit early."

I am looking for small one-two day jobs and depending on the job would be willing to tackle larger jobs as well. I am a full time bath and walk-in bathtub installer looking for some part time jobs to fill my time off. I have 6 years experience in bathroom and general home construction. Yes, 1/2-inch thick drywall is commonly used for ceilings in residential construction. It provides adequate support and is easier to handle and install compared to thicker drywall sheets. However, for most standard residential applications, 1/2-inch drywall is sufficient and widely accepted.

It doesn’t matter which way you lay drywall, and you can choose to install it horizontally or vertically depending on the size of the wall and how tall the ceiling is. It’s easier to lay drywall sheets vertically if you have a taller ceiling, but laying sheets horizontally makes it easier to apply joint compound.
