"We just installed a exterior door from Andersen Windows and it is beautiful. It was awesome working with all the employees at Andersen Windows. They are very professional and the installers were very neat and clean. They showed us everything about the new door. Make sure to answer any questions. I will recommend Andersen Windows for all windows and doors!"

"Excellent service which provided outstanding results. Computer was running so slow my wife wanted me to buy another computer. Using Angies List I was able to find this company who I called right away. I made arrangements to drop off my laptop on Friday night and was able to pick it back up Sunday afternoon. Took it home and it runs just like the day i bought it. James loaded virus protection software which works better than the software I bought. Very goodexperience, i will use him again. "
"Sales process was good, courteous and helpful. Installation instructions were easy to follow. Did have a small issue with one sensor which was easily solved with a call. Control panel is easy to use and well constructed. Phone app is the best part. Not a big fan of a 2 year contract and the monthly rate feels a little high, but definitely a decent system. I had emailed them a question pertaining installing on double hung windows and never received a reply, but other than that their phone support prior to that was good."

"I have two homes and both homes are under the contract. I had one situation that left me almost in tears. I still do not have my air conditioner fixed that broke in June. I had ten scheduled appointments with them. I always tried to listen to the technician so I could pass along information to the next. I wish they would relay the information back to American Home Shield. It got to the point where I purchased two window units to keep us cool. One of the providers frightened me and I called American Home Shield to have them never send that provider out to me again. This experience really soured me towards them."

No, not every window has movable sashes. Many fixed or stationary windows that were intended only to provide views and sunlight still have inoperable sashes that allow them to match the rest of the windows in a home. These are called sash-set fixed windows. They are created by glazing a window into a sash that is secured to a frame.
There are several downsides to choosing casement windows for your home. Firstly, casement windows can cost significantly more than standard windows—especially if you need to install custom windows. If you plan on installing window AC units, then casement windows aren’t the best option, as it can be difficult to fit an AC unit into windows that open sideways or outwards.
The hinges on casement windows also pose a higher risk for break-ins, as rust and wear and tear can make the hardware easier for burglars to break into.
The purpose of an awning window is to let fresh air into your home without taking up too much wall space. They’re ideal if you live somewhere that gets a lot of rain because their design helps prevent rain from coming into your home. In bathrooms, awning windows also help with ventilation but don’t compromise your privacy.
To ensure the longevity and smooth functioning of new windows, regular maintenance is essential. This includes cleaning the glass and frames, inspecting seals for leaks or damage, and reapplying caulking as needed. It is also important to lubricate all moving parts and operating mechanisms to ensure they continue to operate smoothly.
The visibility through tinted house windows depends on the lighting. During the day, when it is brighter outside, privacy film prevents people from seeing into your home. However, this effect reverses at night. If you have lights on inside, it becomes brighter indoors than outdoors, allowing people to see inside. To optimize privacy, you can select from various shades of film, ranging from lighter to darker, which affects how much is visible from the outside.
