"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

From the time we all set out on our own we realize that life is far more difficult than we planned. While some people love to be surrounded by others I personally love my time alone to get the relaxation and the restoration I need to greet the next day like the gift it is. And nothing makes it harder than to come home to a list of tasks I still need to complete. So whether you have a small place like mine or your dream home it seems as if the sanctuary you created can often not be the refuge you created. Between work, family, pets chores and errands it never seems like there's enough hours in the day. But that's actually what I would like to offer you. I'd like to take some of the things off your plate so that when you walk in at night , kick off your shoes and be greeted by the retreat that you deserve. Let Sanctuary Solutions, be the solution that you've been craving. ---- I do you want to apologize for people who sent me messages in the last couple weeks unfortunately evidently they have a timeline here and after a couple days I can't respond anymore so if you were interested please send me an another message and I'll be happy to get back to you in a promptly manner this time. I do apologize my daughter was in the hospital and I was just too busy, but it doesn'tean I wasn't interested. \nsherry

Closets questions, answered by experts

A foyer or entryway is typically a formal landing area for guests, located at the primary entrance of a home. It is often more formally decorated and connects directly to the main living space. In contrast, a mudroom is a more casual, utilitarian room, usually leading in from a secondary entrance like a garage or the side or rear of the house. It serves as a space for residents to remove shoes and outerwear to keep mud, dirt, and water out of the main home.

The differences between a built-in closet and a walk-in aren’t that different from a built-in wardrobe and a walk-in closet. It’s fairly simple—a walk-in closet is a closet you can physically enter, stand in, and walk around in. A built-in (whether wardrobe or closet) is more akin to covered shelves installed into a recess in the wall. Another big difference is walk-in closets almost always have traditional full-size doors, while built-ins either have no doors or use sliding doors.

Built-in furniture maximizes space, offers a tailored look, and enhances room functionality.

When storing your clothes long-term, first consider the container's breathability. While plastic bags, cardboard boxes, or vacuum sealing may be great options for short-term storage, they won’t help your clothes hold up in the long term. Breathable plastic boxes and fabric bags help with airflow, prevent mold or mildew from building up, and allow proper airflow.

Yes, 12-inch shelves are often considered the standard closet shelf depth for storing folded clothing, shoes, and small containers. However, if you plan to store bulky items such as blankets, baskets, or cleaning supplies, you may want to go deeper. For specialized layouts, an adjustable system can give you more flexibility.
