"Absolutely great, as with Joey's last two visits. This young man really knows what he's doing, and it's wonderful to be able to rely on him when electrical problems exceed my limited DIY skills."

"and they had a technician come out, which confirmed it was their fault. We asked for a manager to call us. We have been completely unable to get any call back from any leadership. We have been told multiple dates in the supposed repair. As of today, it’s set to be two weeks of no AC for my pregnant wife. Worse yet, we have had to spend $2000 on portable AC/fans/dehumidifer. We initially simply asked for compensation towards the “repair” but couldn’t get any response. We have had damage to the drywall, windows, etc. as a result of the humidity. Waldrop literally blocked us on Facebook instead of responding to our issues."

Gas Leak Repair questions, answered by experts

Safety steps include proper vent installation, connector tightness, and leak testing. A safe environment must be maintained throughout.

Fixing a gas leak costs about $45 to $150 per hour for a plumber or gas line specialist. The job’s overall cost will vary depending on the location of the leak. A leaky junction or connection behind the stove or dryer will likely cost about $120 to $170. But for a leak that requires a gas fitter or plumber to excavate a pipe in the yard, the cost could rise to $1,500 to $5,000. Keep in mind that gas leaks are very serious issues, so don’t hesitate to contact a plumber or gas line specialist immediately.

You’ll need to increase your budget. Since you will likely need a new outlet, factor in $120 to $200 for it. If your gas company needs to run a new gas line to your oven, expect a charge between $200 to $2,000.

You can maneuver your gas grill into place, but you cannot connect the grill to your gas source yourself. All municipalities mandate that a certified plumber carry out this work, so you’ll have to reach out to a plumber or a gas grill installation company in your area. Given how dangerous a gas leak can be, gas lines and connections are highly regulated, so you’ll need a professional’s help and a permit to install a gas grill.

This is a matter of personal preference, as each method has its own pros and cons. Oil furnaces are safer, but the smell can be off-putting to some consumers. Oil is also more expensive than gas. However, oil furnaces boast a higher BTU rate per hour, so a smaller amount of oil can heat a larger space when compared to a gas furnace.
