Small jobs welcome

Hi! I’m Kendall, the owner of Southern Charm Cleaning.\n\nCleaning has always been something I take pride in, and I started my business because I love helping people enjoy a clean, comfortable home without the stress of doing it all themselves. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and I treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own.\n\nAs a mom of three, I know how busy life can get and how much of a difference it makes to come home to a clean space. Whether you need a one-time deep clean, move-in or move-out cleaning, Airbnb turnovers, or recurring service, my goal is to provide reliable, high-quality cleaning you can count on.\n\nCustomer satisfaction is my top priority. I believe in honest communication, paying attention to the little details, and making sure every client is happy with the results. I’d love the opportunity to earn your trust and help keep your home looking its best.\n\nThank you for supporting my small business—I look forward to working with you!

"Quick call back from quote requested from Angie's List. Appointment made within 3 days. Tech Pete and Austin arrived on time with professional vehicle and equipment and were obviously skilled and knowledgeable, courteous and well, just nice. They assessed situation and determined that cleaning from inside would work well and although a significant amount of soot and debris came down from the cleaning process, there was essentially no mess to clean up other than a vacuuming around the hearth as they were very careful to keep the debris within the firebox. Provided clear and complete report of condition of chimney and the maintenance performed. All accomplished within a very reasonable time for a reasonable price. Very pleased. Would recommend and hire again."

"Coles Chimney did a fabulous job. My steps look like new. They were prompt and always explained the various steps in the process. By the time they finished the job, they already had multiple jobs in the neighborhood from people walking by who saw the quality of the work."

Chimney Sweep questions, answered by experts

The first step in fire damage restoration is having a pro come in right away to help control moisture (if authorities used water to extinguish a fire at your home). Skipping moisture removal puts your home at risk for invasive mold and rot that can cause added property damage and health issues. Once you have the bulk of the water out, you’ll need to run blower fans for 24 to 72 hours to remove moisture.

Yes, carpets should be replaced after a house fire or significant smoke damage, even if they appear undamaged. Smoke, soot, particulates, and chemicals can penetrate deep into the carpet fibers and padding, making complete removal a complicated and time-consuming process. If water was used to extinguish the fire, it can also soak through the carpet and padding, creating a risk of mold and mildew growth. Due to these challenges and potential health risks, replacing the carpet is the safest and most effective solution.

Yes, professionals use specialized treatments to remove smoke odors and improve indoor air quality.

Depending on who’s doing the estimating, about 22,000 to 25,000 chimney fires happen each year in the United States. Given the fact that millions of Americans have fireplaces (and chimneys), that means chimney fires aren’t exactly common—but they’re not rare, either. Since they’re so dangerous, it’s important to take precautions to prevent them.

Yes, mineral spirits are flammable and may spontaneously combust at temperatures of 200 degrees F or more. Storing them in well-ventilated spaces and disposing of them the proper way are the best ways to prevent mineral spirits or anything contaminated with them, like towels and rags, from going up in smoke.
