Established in 1999, all things wood started from meager beginnings in a single car garage. Co-owner Paul, building small, unfinished cabinets. A few years later, his wife and co-owner Crissy, lent her design and finishing expertise to the company. With 15 years professional experience, and hundreds of satisfied customers, Paul and Crissy pride themselves on quality craftmenship, quality materials, quick turn-around, at a reasonable price. 2 employees, all work hand-made, check or cash, 1/2 deposit and balance upon installation.

Heavenly Home Improvements is a family run business dedicated to providing homeowners with the most efficient and cost-effective home improvement and repair service available. We hold ourselves and our employees to the highest standards possible. We believe our first responsibility is to the customers we service. In meeting their needs everything we do must be of the highest quality, and at a fair market rate so that everyone can afford our services.

"The first coat in the stairwell did not cover well; original paint could be seen in several places. They came back to roll a second coat, but did not "cut in" along the edges. Once dry, this left a visible jagged border along the ceiling lines, corners, under the railing, and into the family room at the bottom of the stairs. Apparently, the original gallon and the new gallon weren't mixed together for this project, so the tints were slightly off. So, the original work wasn't satisfactory, and their recommended fix created an even bigger problem -- all the while assuring me that everything would dry evenly and that I would be satisfied. And all that, by the way, after I pre-paid for the work to be done. Their solution to the whole debacle was to make excuses and charge more money. After dealing with the frustration, and a lack of communication and timeliness, I did not agree to the extra expense. In all fairness, he did offer a bit of a discount to make everything right. Shawn is a nice guy and a member of our community, which makes this experience -- and this review -- all the more disappointing. On the bright side, the hallway and the ceiling look great. We're grateful for that."

"A great experience from beginning to end! Estimator Donna was clearly experienced and had some great ideas for our closet in our new home. Installer Pierce did an excellent job on the install. Nice quality components. There was a minor issue with one cabinet door that was came damaged. A temporary replacement was installed and the new part came quickly. I was impressed with how this issue was handled."

Closets questions, answered by experts

Tiny house living requires creative solutions to the one biggest issue: space. Many people in tiny houses find life most manageable if they practice minimalism. Eliminating excess items and clutter makes the living space feel bigger, which can be a significant mood booster. It can also be challenging to get utilities arranged for a tiny house, and building and zoning codes can and often do present unique challenges to overcome.

You can turn an adjacent room into a walking closet by just rearranging the room. This means removing the furniture and adding racks and an island in the center if you have that in your budget. Houses with two bedrooms connected to each other are great options for large walk-in closets that don't require any structural changes or much building whatsoever.

Costs range from $1,500 to $5,000, depending on size, materials, and features.

To prevent sagging, consider both the material and the span of the shelf. Using sturdy materials such as plywood or solid wood can provide better support than particleboard. Additionally, limiting the shelf span to 36 inches or less can reduce the risk of sagging. For longer shelves, incorporating center supports or brackets can offer additional reinforcement.

Built-in furniture maximizes space, offers a tailored look, and enhances room functionality.
