"The job went well. The tradesmen were hardworking and nice. One of them even assisted an elderly neighbor out of her car and took her groceries to her front door. "LM Construction charged a fair price, turned up on time and were professional and courteous. They were very detail oriented and nothing was too much trouble. They were prepared to stay late as required to complete work. They came to do one tile job and ended up getting all the work. I have no hesitation in recommending them."

"I was very satisfied. He has been painting for me for years. We have 2 different houses, and paints at both (Interior/Exterior). He is a wonderful painter. He always gives a fair price. He is dependable, and when he says he is coming he is always there. He does first class work .What I like about him is that you do not have to do a thing. He takes all the pictures/drapes/etc. off the wall, and then puts them back. He covers the everything with plastic so he does not make a mess. He leaves the house just as it was when he found it. Everything is always perfect, and I have never had anything that he has done that was not top quality."

Stucco questions, answered by experts

The best adhesive that works on stucco is usually a product specified for use on stucco or concrete surfaces. The adhesive will need to be strong to grip the stucco, but should also wipe away clean when used in a temporary application. You can also consider using super glue or hot glue on stucco.

Stucco will dry in two to three days, but you should wait one to two months to allow it to cure fully before you paint it. The curing process is slow, but leaving the material exposed to air and natural moisture will help it reach its maximum strength. If you live in a hot, arid climate, wait a month before painting. Wait two months before painting if you live in a more moderate or wet climate.

Several clues suggest that your stucco is damaged or has underlying issues. Visual clues include discoloration, cracks, indentations, broken caulking, or visible mold. If you touch your stucco and feel any soft spots, that could also indicate a problem. If you notice any of these concerns, call in an inspector who can confirm your suspicions and help provide solutions.

If your windows are losing efficiency from wearing out or experiencing leaks on rainy days, it may be time to consider replacing them. Window replacement costs run between $180 and $410 per window but may be on the higher end for homes with stucco siding since stucco will likely require more time and special tools for replacement.

When hiring for your project, look for licensed, insured contractors with experience in stucco removal. Ask them for references, review their past stucco removal projects, and request detailed, written estimates. A reputable stucco removal contractor will explain the entire process, outline all costs, and ensure proper disposal and compliance with local codes.
