They repsected my yard and even planted grass and threw hay when they were finished. MapleLeaf Landscape is a full service landscape design and installation company. With one full-time employee who has a degree in architecture and 15 years of working knowledge of landscape as it pertains to the environment. We work closely with and manage the installation of all designs through a single contracted installer. MapleLeaf is on site for all projects to keep installation flowing smoothly and to work with clients as questions and suggestions arise. To begin we generally do a walk through with clients on their property to gain insight to the clients wants, ideas, and needs for their property. MapleLeaf then starts work on a landscape plan/design (fee based) once a final design has been approved by the client, and if needed home association, an estimate for the installation will be given to the client. Once the plan/design has been approved a partial payment will be expected before installation begins. MapleLeaf will generally expect another payment half way through the project and then the final payment at the end of the project. Check, cash, and credit cards are accepted. Plants are guaranteed for one year if well taken care of. We are happy to discuss maintenance of the landscape installation if needed. MapleLeaf has a small client referral program, where if a client refers a new customer to us we will give the current client either a small percentage off a new project or a nicely multi-plant outdoor pot that will accent the project we have already installed.

"Landcore Landscape, and Mark in particular, charges a premium price, promises a lot, under delivers, and does not stand by his work. We had another, lower, estimate but went with Mark because he promised his work would be better in several specific areas. For example, he mentioned larger plant pot sizes in our back row of plantings but when the plants arrived they were all the same size. This was changed once we mentioned it but this is just one of many examples where we had to stay on top of things. We thought we were paying a premium price so that we would not have to do so. Many of the plants did not look healthy upon delivery. When we mentioned this, Mark assured us that once they were planted, they would perk up. Three weeks later, one plant was dead and 3 others were looking sickly. Now two and a half months later, we still have one dead plant and now we have 6 other plants that are not looking well. Our irrigation system, checked by Mark, is in fine working order and we followed Mark’s directions exactly. Finally after 4 texts and one voice mail, Mark responded that he thinks the 6 sickly plants may recover and the one dead one--well, we should just take care of that ourselves through a local nursery. Mark is very personable and we tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but his response of not caring about our dead and dying plants and that we are on our own has earned him this one star rating. Very unprofessional."

Thickness is measured in mils, a unit of measurement equal to one-thousandth of an inch, with most pond liners ranging from 15 to 60 mils in thickness. The smaller the number, the thinner (and weaker) the liner. To prevent rips and tears, it’s best to choose a pond liner that’s at least 30 mils thick.

Algae growth is a common issue for misters, but you can do several things to prevent it. First, use a sealed water tank with distilled or filtered water to fuel your misters. Second, blow out the misters after every use so no water is left in the tubing. Third, thoroughly clean the misting system every several weeks of use at minimum during the warmest months. Third, wherever possible positioning tubing and the water tank away from direct sunlight and in the coolest areas possible.
