We are devoted to the care and service of lakes and ponds, so you can be confident that we’ll keep your body of water in its best possible condition when we work together. We specialize in maintaining the quality of your lake, pond, or waterway by using top-quality materials and specialized equipment while applying innovative maintenance techniques. We strive to find aquatic solutions that protect the well-being of the fish and wildlife in your ponds and lakes.

"We bought some property in Loris, SC (near Myrtle Beach) that had been sadly neglected for many years prior to us purchasing it. On that property was a wildly overgrown 1.5 acre pond that was in great need of clearing to be able to start the pond rejuvenation process. Caleb Primm and his team showed up and in one day took down all of the trees and overgrowth around the pond! They were so professional and had some of the best customer service that I’ve ever experienced. Their attention to detail was impeccable, and we can’t wait to see the pond transformation over the coming months. Highly recommended this company!"

Coastal Shores Landscape & Property Maintenance has been serving the area since 2002. We offer complete landscape and property maintenance for homes, business, and developments.

"Even though the lawn and garden beds didn't look that great, we stuck with the seller's landscaping company, Coastal Shores, after purchasing a new home in Bluffton. That turned out to be a mistake and we made a change after 8 months of giving them an opportunity to improve. Most of the premium services listed in our contract like pruning, weeding, chemical treatments were either not performed or done so very sporadically. It was obvious to us that our neighbors had superior companies managing their properties so we switched. In my opinion the owner does not understand the basic tenants of good customer service. He was unresponsive to our concerns and despite knowing that we had issues never bothered to call or pay us a visit. He has a nice website though, but that didn't help our yard to look any better. He recently hired a new manager who has some good ideas about how to turn things around, so there is hope for the future - thus we gave the company a C instead of a D."

We are a small local business established in 1976. Our 42 employees are well-trained, highly skilled craftsmen who believe in high-quality work. Our company is full-service; we do not subcontract because we can design, install and maintain your landscape with all in-house employees. "Awful! We hired them to install new landscaping, lights and sprinklers. The PM quit a couple of weeks prior and the new PM was clearly not happy about taking the job. Multiple trips required to get the lights and sprinklers working. 80% of the plants died and they lied about the warranty. Run from this company!"

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Yes, many brands make models similar to endless pools with a range of features. Some companies feature temporary aboveground pools that imitate the effect of permanent installations. Small home pool spas—or spools—as well as lap pools and pools without propulsion designs for water aerobics are also available.

In short, yes, a pond can add to your home’s value. However, whether it adds value will depend on the condition and aesthetic of your pond. Having this feature already built into a yard’s home can be appealing to homebuyers who value its aesthetic and would prefer not to build it themselves. But if it is not kept in good condition, it could turn buyers away.

Although we often equate bodies of water with pesky mosquitoes, you don’t have to worry about them in your natural swimming pool. This is because mosquitoes are attracted to bodies of standing water. Your natural pool, on the other hand, has consistently moving water, thanks to the pump that runs all year long.

Yes, it is possible to make a fountain without a pump, though it may seem less intuitive and will require a bit more effort to use. In lieu of an electric pump, there are a few options including hand-cranked pumps or sprinkler systems that can work to provide water for a fountain.

A koi pond may add value to your home if it’s a feature sellers are looking for. Like pools, ponds can affect your property value depending on their condition, whether they’re a popular selling point, and how well they’re incorporated into your home’s landscape.
