"They arrived on time and set up protective barriers between the room and the rest of the house. The first item was demolition of the existing ceiling. Once that was complete, we saw that durapex pipe ran the entire length of the room. Since that was the cause of the initial leak, they were very considerate and allowed us time to replace it so we could prevent future issues. They then installed the new ceiling. The install took longer than anticipated due to weather causing the drywall compound to take longer to dry and equipment malfunctions. Once the work was done, they were paid and left for their next job. After a day or two to let all the dust settle with no activity in the room is when we found all of the problems. They hadn't bothered to clean the dust from the in room hallway and bathroom, they snapped off the toggle for the hallway light switch and didn't tell us, the ceiling corners they had filled with compound were rounded instead of square, the ceiling seams were lumpy and uneven and there were pits and lines everywhere. No amount of paint was going to hide the horrendously amature job. We found 1/4 to 1/2 an inch of drywall compound in the corners where they tried to cover a 1/2 gap between the wall top and installed ceiling. I now have to pay someone else to fix this fiasco."

"I hired Jeff Carroll from K + L Tree And Design to run a french drain down the side of our house and across our backyard. Plus we found some issues with our irrigation system where it was leaking into the ground and needed to be repaired. What started out as what seemed as an easy job turned into a long drawn out mess. We started the process in March which should have only taken maybe a week or so of total time, ended up getting to August and my job still is not complete. With numerous excuses for not showing up and delaying my job between having another job lined up, equipment needed repair, his personal vacation, health issues, etc. It was literally one excuse after another while my job sat uncomplete. I still have gravel sitting in my front yard because he hasn’t come to finish the job with the irrigation system. BUT the biggest issue of it all is he STOLE money from me. With the closing of our house we were given some money though the closing of the house to use on landscaping, but the lawyer had to pay Jeff the money. Jeff said once the job was done, I could pay him, and then he would write me a check for the money when I handed him the check from the lawyer. He wrote me a bogus check and its been over two months of more excuses as to why he can’t get me another check. I would not recommend hiring K + L Tree And Design. Its been the worst experience and I will have to go to court to try and get my money back."
