Customers say: Terrific value

"Brivy Cleaning really came through for us on a large-scale interior reposition project in Mauldin, SC. They were responsive to our shifting schedules and willing to go above and beyond to clean up the messes our other vendors made. I would hire them again on our next interior project and anything else where we need quality cleaners."

"VERY well! My house needed TLC! Michelle paid extreme attention to detail. She wiped down the bathroom doors where the children's dirty hands had touched them, the white wainscoting in the kitchen by the table where things had splattered, etc. That was of course after conquering that huge task of cleaning 4 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms, toy room, etc.; a total of 3,500 sq. ft. of house ravaged by 3 children and 2 dogs. I purchased a 10 hour deep cleaning off of Angie's list, and Michelle completed the job in 9 hours. She moved living room furniture to sweep and mop under them. The pictures included were taken by my 7 year old daughter, because she was so excited how the house looked! The after pictures do NOT do justice to what Michelle went through to get the rooms to look like that! This cleaning was a gift to my husband, in his love language, for Valentine's Day! He was sooooo impressed!! Thank you Michelle!!"

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The cost of removing snow from a roof averages between $300 and $700. However, this cost can range from $200 to $3,000, depending on the size of your roof, the amount of snow, and roof accessibility.

Since snowfall can range from light powder to heavy and condensed snow, part of the price of roof snow removal depends on the amount and type of snow. For 12 inches of snow, you can expect to pay between $200 and $2,000 for this job. However, for 24 inches of snow, that price rises to $300 to $3,000.

Removing snow from your roof can help prevent ice dams, but the best thing to do is address insulation issues in your attic. If you do decide to remove the snow manually, you should always use a roof rake rather than a shovel. You shouldn’t climb your snowy roof in any circumstance, and roof rake allows you to remove the snow from the ground or a ladder. For the best results, remove snow as soon as possible after it falls.

Yes, gable vents can let water in. That being said, this usually only occurs during extreme conditions like heavy rainfall. You can prevent water from entering through gable vents by adding a screen that traps the water before it can enter.

Roof cleaning isn’t a necessity, but it can drastically improve your home’s curb appeal and even prolong the life of your roof, so it’s often a great investment. It’s especially a good idea if shaded parts of your roof experience algae or moss growth, which can damage the shingles and hold water against them, increasing the risk of a roof leak.

It is not advisable to DIY a roof cleaning job. Cleaning your roof yourself could lead to hazardous falls, scrapes, and even burns, making this a dangerous project. Additionally, using the wrong cleaning solution or cleaning method on your roof could risk damaging it. While some markets offer a DIY roof cleaning kit, these products often speed up the deterioration of your roof.

To ensure that you and your roof are protected, it’s best to leave roof cleaning to a professional with the right chemicals, tools, and equipment to complete the job safely.
