"I highly recommend Carolina Land and Debris! They did an outstanding job removing leaves from my property. They took a considerable amount of time, never cut corners and honored the estimate they originally gave me. They had to work around bad weather and were professional and thorough from start to finish. When they were done, my yard looked better than it has in years."

"I arranged to have an estimate and when she came and we settled on a price I was surprised to hear that she was going to do the work that very day. She went to the store and got the supplies and came back and installed everything perfectly. I have to say it was a shock that she came on time did a nice clean up job for a fair price. I was surprised because my experience with contractors lately has not been that good. Thanks for the recommendation."

Excavating questions, answered by experts

Concrete blocks are the cheapest way to base a shed. However, the space in between allows critters to go under, burrow, and even damage your shed’s frame. For a more pest-proof option, consider building a shed base with gravel or paver stones. Both options are fairly affordable and easy enough for a DIY project. For gravel, you can build a wooden frame to contain the loose material.

Maintain open communication and address issues as they arise, ensuring contract terms cover potential delays.

To determine whether your homeowners' insurance will cover crawl space repair, consider the cause of the issue. Repair may be covered if the problems were caused by an event that the insurance covers, such as vandalism or a windstorm. However, companies won't cover the repair if the issues are caused by neglect or wear and tear.

Completion time ranges from days to weeks, contingent on project size, environmental conditions, and regulatory approvals.

Sewer lines can be buried anywhere from 18 inches to 8 feet deep, with a common average depth between 18 and 30 inches. The exact depth depends on local factors like climate and soil type. In colder regions, pipes must be buried deeper (below the frost line) to prevent freezing, sometimes as deep as 8 feet. The digging depth can also impact the cost of sewer line replacement. To find the specific depth for your property, you can check the building plans for your system, which should be on file with your city or local sanitation department since permits are required for installation.
