"They were outstanding. I found that most companies had limited serviced areas and when I got the responses, I heard that there were a couple of companies that worked outside their serviced area. It was a little bit of a frustration finding someone. House of Spas had a large serviced area. They showed up exactly when they said that they would. They did exactly what they said that they were going to do. Their price was very reasonable. They would be the one that I would go with for servicing my spa going forward. I would absolutely use them again in the future."

"Brian and Kevin did a wonderful job installing a new liner in my inground pool. They also repaired our pool pump and upgraded the system to run smoother.....as the pool is 30 yrs old! I want to add all his team were very professional and efficient making sure that everything was perfect! We were very pleased and in the future they will be our first call for any pool issues. Whether you can repair a hot tub depends on the severity of the problem and the location. With the right tools and knowledge, you can fix problems like small leaks or switching out a dirty filter. However, electrical and plumbing issues require a licensed professional due to the inherent risk, particularly when mixing water with electricity.

Using bubble bath, bath oils, bath salts, or moisturizing products that contain butters or oils can damage your jetted tub. Because of the water pump and jet mechanism, you need to be more selective with products for a jetted tub than you would for a traditional bathtub in order to keep it functioning properly and avoid expensive repairs. These products also leave residue that can feed mildew and mold, so it’s best to avoid them.

You can drain a hot tub very quickly by using a submersible pump rather than the hose-sized drain at the bottom exterior of the tub. A pump can move up to 30 gallons per minute, draining your hot tub in no time. Using the regular drain can take up to two hours.

Most hot tub cracks can be repaired unless they have gone beneath the acrylic. If so, you may need a professional to determine if the crack is repairable or if you should consider hot tub replacement instead.

Hot tub repairs cost between $200 and $500 on average. You can minimize those costs by maintaining your hot tub and keeping necessary supplies on hand. An elevated shelf in the garage is a great place to store your water care chemicals so that kids and pets will stay safe and you’ll always have them around. 

Your hot tub should be drained of existing water, cleaned, and refilled every three to four months at a minimum.
