"Adam called me immediately and met me that same day. I hired the company and they cut my grass that same day. They used a ride on mower and my land is uneven so some areas were shorter than others. Two days later they spread 10 yards of hemlock mulch and recut some areas of my grass with push mower. They will use a push mower in the future. My yard now looks beautifully landscaped. Communication is definately key with this company. They aim to please!!"

"Work was done exactly as itemized on the quotation. All the people from A.A. and the plumbing company were professional and a pleasure to deal with. The only thing that kept me from awarding all A's was that we were originally told the entire process would take about 4 weeks, but it actually went on for almost 8 weeks. There was also at least one occasion where we set up an appointment and no one showed up that day.  Other than that, I highly recommend A.A. for honesty, professionalism, and quality work.

"It went great! Karen and Greg were great to work with. Greg made sure I understood what was going to be done and made an extra visit to show me exactly which fixtures he would be using before beginning the job. I was comfortable having Greg work in my home and felt confident in his expertise and professionalism."

Generator Install questions, answered by experts

While natural gas generators are costly, they’re a great option for standby power due to the reliability of natural gas as a fuel source. Unlike other fuels, natural gas is delivered through underground pipes, making outages extremely rare and less likely to be affected by the elements. As long as the area isn’t prone to earthquakes, they offer an unlimited supply of natural gas that doesn’t degrade over time or require storage in tanks.

Generators are usually sized by running watts and starting watts. Ideally, you’ll want a generator that can offer both the necessary running watts and starting watts for everything you need to power without going beyond 90% of its capacity. Calculate your home’s electrical load based on the breakers in your home or adding up the appliance and lighting needs of connected rooms.

To power a central air system during a power outage, the whole-house generator will need to be at least 5,000 watts, and this number will significantly increase for larger units. Check the specific wattage requirements of your AC unit to choose the right generator size. Consider consulting a generator installer to ensure your whole-house generator meets your electrical load needs.

Sizing a generator is a careful process that requires calculating the electrical load of your entire house. You have to take into account every device you want to use and their wattage requirements, plus the wattage needed to start them, and look for a generator that can safely run all that at around 80% capacity.

In more practical terms, a small home can run on a 10,000-watt generator (and if you only want to power a few key appliances, much less than that). A mid-sized home may need something between 15,000 and 22,000 watts. Larger homes require 25,000 watts or more.

Many services include assembling the unit and securing it in the window. Confirm with your provider.
