"I was very impressed with Seth and his crew! We had a horrible water situation in our basement (bought an older home and the first heavy rain revealed serious water issues! ugh!) and knew it needed a serious solution if we wanted to be able to use our basement for storage. Seth provided a free quote and even suggested additional solutions with pricing options. He communicated with me quickly by text and took the time to explain every step of the process. At the end of each work day, he would walk me through all the work that had been done that day (again, answering any of my questions). The guys worked hard for four days, in some pretty hot and humid conditions! Seth also pointed out some other problem areas in my basement as they did their work and made recommendations on how to resolve those issues (there was some wood rot on the stairway area and a leaking water bib; he even gave me the name of a contractor for replacing my rain gutters outside when I was ready). Seth installed a basement dry system along all four walls of the basement, two sump pumps in opposite corners, and a lateral across the middle of the basement. I chose Better Basements & Beyond because it is a local company (not some big box company just out to make a buck) but also because Seth actually does the work himself (again, no fancy representative doing a sales pitch who doesn't get his hands dirty). When our basement flooded, I called Midstate and Eric and Adam were here the next day. I had a proposal in 2 days and they were here to do the work within a week of my signing the proposal.
