We used to be the Fence Experts, but now we're Integrous, fence and deck builders who believe that craftsmanship and care go a long way. We take pride in every project we complete and invest extra time to listen, ask questions, and treat your family like our own. Whether you’re looking for a backyard privacy fence or custom deck, we’ll work closely with you to make your outdoor dreams a reality. Since 2009, we've designed and installed a variety of commercial and residential fences and decks, all backed by the industry's only completely comprehensive, five-year warranty. Built to withstand the toughest environments and last for generations, our products are all made with your goals in mind. We are a family owned and family-run business based in Eastern PA. Our team is comprised of professional craftsmen who are committed to the highest quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

"Integrous did an incredible back deck and pergula in a timely and efficient manner. Would definitely recommend and use them again. A year after, I had some damage on a railing (that I caused). Their sales representative Joe came by at 7am and swapped out the piece out at no cost. This company goes above and beyond. Would strongly suggest working with them."

"We hired Standard Fence to replace an existing chain link with a 4ft wood privacy fence. Quoted as a two day job. At the end of day one the old fence is down and about 60% of the new fence is installed, at 6ft height. Wife and I discussed and decided we were okay with not having them redo the completed work and adjusted to 6ft final product. I should have insisted on it being redone as this was the first of multiple cut corners. I did however raise concerns about the old chain link fence posts that were removed as there was still a fair amount of metal protruding from the ground. I was told they would grind them down to the concrete and fill back dirt. Not ideal but I gather this is the new industry standard instead of full removal... fine, if completed as stated. Day 2 work completed after no more than 3 hours, I return later that evening (after spouse paid...) to find that only one of the posts was actually ground down to the concrete as that concrete was slightly above dirt level to begin with. 4 others, included one perfectly in the middle of the primary gate, are now semi-sharp metal at no better than dirt level with the rest being higher. A tuft of grass was laid on top of the metal in the gate opening to hide it from sight. Contractor contacted by email and replied "I only could grind down so far. The dirt was binding up the grinder." No further explanation of why it wasn't possible to dig said dirt out of the way and complete the job as stated. No real attempt was made to clean up afterwards. I collected two sizable piles of scrap metal and post caps in the span of a 10 minute walk around my yard and my neighbors. This was also mentioned to the contractor with the response "I am sorry about the few fittings left around. I genuinely didn't see them." This is simply put a bold faced lie considering some of the post caps were tossed under a shed where they could not have just fallen on their own and being the size of a tennis ball are essentially impossible to miss in a brief walkaround. 6 weeks after installation the hits keep coming as the hardware used for the main gate was insufficient, or poorly installed, and the gate is already sagging with some of the screws used beginning to come lose and others having cracked the wood with how close to the edge they were installed. A second smaller gate is also sagging such that opening and latching both are a hassle. Each will require me to either install completely new hardware or make adjustments to keep them in working order before the season is out. I could continue with more details about nail points in the gate that were brought to the contractors attention not having been ground down and other hardware issues such as not even bothering to install any sort of handles or pulls. If you need a brand new fence, I believe they are capable of doing a nice job. I however didn't get such service and would advise a watchful eye throughout the job and a close inspection prior to remitting final payment. If you need a fence replaced make sure you know what their full intentions for removal are an again inspect on 'completion.'"

Welding questions, answered by experts

No, beams are the primary load-bearers for flooring or roofing systems, and they distribute the weight of the structure to your foundational supports, while joists bear far less weight and distribute their loads to the beams. Beams are usually thicker and longer, and they have support posts or foundation walls beneath them for support.

Yes, professional fabricators can create custom pieces, including railings, sculptures, signage, and architectural elements.

Yes, an LVL beam is more affordable than the cost of a steel I-beam, totaling between $50 and $200 per linear foot as opposed to the $100 to $400 per linear foot you’d pay for a steel I-beam. Not only is the wood material more affordable than steel, but it’s also more similar to traditional wooden beams and doesn’t require as much retrofitting to connect joists.

Costs depend on material type, labor, design complexity, finishing requirements, and installation needs.

Lally columns are named after their founder, John Lally, who owned a construction company in the 1800s. He invented the columns as a means of providing temporary support for beams and rafters in homes his company was renovating. The original Lally columns were also made of steel, although the inventory used a thicker gauge metal, which provided additional support for larger projects and long-term structural solutions.
