Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. "They were very nice and professional. The only thing I wasn’t thrilled with was that my son’s room was sort of a brighter green color and I found areas where they had missed the second coat. However, they came right back and fixed it. Overall, I thought that they did a fine job. We spent about $3400, but we had the entire interior of our house done. They did a very good job. I would recommend them. They were two brothers and they had some other guys that worked with them. One of the brothers had gone home to Argentina at one point and I wasn’t sure if he was coming back. "We purchased an 1880's era row home in downtown Lancaster. It had been rental property for many years and needed a lot of restoration. We'd had Lancaster Contracting do the roof last year, and asked for a quote on restoring the second floor porch this year. The porch itself had seen years and years of neglect. It was literally rotting off the side of the building!
They came and gave us a very reasonable quote (we'd had 2 other competing quotes done that just seemed like triage, instead of restoration). We accepted their quote and they went to work. They literally stripped the entire structure down to the original hand-hewed oak timbers  -- the skeleton of the structure, which was still in good shape -- and rebuilt the porch from the beams up. 
The project was a complete success, and we're thrilled with our porch!
The team from Lancaster Contracting was great  - professional, friendly, responsive, considerate, and their work was wonderful. They had to remove the entire original porch - which runs across the back and down the side of our house - and replace the floor and underside of the porch, the porch ceiling, the supports, the railings, the screens, the door, the ceiling fixtures, ornamentation, everything - and we couldn't be happier with the results. Their attention to detail was amazing, and their prices are fair. They were flexible with changes that came up during the project, and were very responsive to questions throughout the process. We felt sad when the project was completed, because they felt like family! Of course, with this being a 130+ year old home, we'll be having them back for more projects.
