"Sunny did a great job! I ordered 3 tables and they were delivered in boxes unassembled. Too intimidating for me. He assembled them quickly and cleaned up the area after. I will hire him again."

"He replaced the plungers and that fixed the upstairs toilet but the downstairs one continued to run. He came back to check the downstairs one and did something in the tank real quick that made some dark fluid come up so he realized it needed another part, I wonder why he didn't check that the first time he was here. After he put the new part in the tank lid was about an inch above where it was suppose to be and you could see the screws. I told him that was unacceptable and he came right back to correct it and it looks fine now. He was really pleasant. I don't think I should have had to pay for the part though."

"Requested a quote from Dave through Angi and he called me only a few hours later. He came out the next day and completed the job in a timely fashion. He was professional, very responsive, and called when he was on his way. Would recommend Dave for handyman services."

Small jobs welcome

"Vince did an awesome job for us framing up a new door in an existing hallway, installing new drywall around the door as well as installing the door, frame, and trim. We were extremely pleased with the work and would recommend to anyone looking for similar work to be done. Vince was very communicative and matched the new door to our existing doors and trim. Highly recommend."

"I can’t even put into words how thankful I am that I have found Hassan! I have had over 30 contractors and Handyman come here for odd jobs and they either don’t show up or the work is done poorly! Hassan has amazing and communication and is on time! He is so kind and genuine and professional and makes you feel like you are his most important client and that you are in good hands and he will take care of you with nothing to worry about! He does every repair so you don’t need to have a separate Plumber, Electrician, Handyman or Painter, etc.! He is a one stop shop!!!!! I wish I could give 100 stars or even 1000! With started off as replacing sconces on my wall and a new faucet in the sink has turned into multiple jobs that I plan to have Hassan complete! His prices are also so reasonable and the cleanup was amazing! Thank you so much. It is truly a blessing to have you in my life now to help me make this house a home again.!!"

"I first hired DE Construction to hang window blinds and a vertical patio blind. They did a great job. I then hired them to lay LVP flooring and am very pleased with their work. They show up on time and clean everything up when they're finished. I would highly recommend DE Construction."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Limited backyard access severely complicates pool construction and installation. In many PA neighborhoods, equipment must pass through narrow alleys or directly through the house. Excavation vibrations can also destabilize older rubble stone or brick foundations, requiring structural underpinning. Mature street trees with extensive root systems and existing concrete patios add heavy demolition requirements before your project can even begin. Always consult a structural expert before digging near older homes.

Helpful?

Assess your yard size and vehicle access, as dense Philadelphia rowhouse neighborhoods present tight entryways for large equipment. Check your property for expansive clay soils, which require specific structural repair methods. Older pools with intact shells but etched plaster are excellent candidates for pool and spa service. Evaluate your sun exposure, as heavy PA tree canopies increase algae risks and demand more rigorous chemical maintenance.

Helpful?

Watch for cracked decking or delaminating plaster along the waterline, which indicate freeze-thaw damage from harsh Philadelphia winters. Check for cracked plumbing lines and damaged pump housings resulting from improper winterization. When assessing prior pool and spa service, look for etched plaster or calcium scaling caused by unbalanced municipal water chemistry. Finally, inspect electrical components for corrosion caused by high PA summer humidity, and ensure fencing meets current safety height requirements.

Helpful?

Timely pool and spa service ensures your system is ready for the short Philadelphia swimming season and provides immediate relief from intense summer heat. Proper maintenance brings your property into strict safety compliance. Long-term benefits include extending your plaster lifespan and preventing emergency structural repairs caused by shifting PA clay soils. Consistent upkeep also boosts your property value and improves energy efficiency during high-demand summer months.

Helpful?

You must secure building, electrical, and zoning permits before starting pool construction and installation. PA state building codes mandate a four-foot fence with self-latching gates around the water. Because the city uses a combined sewer system, adding a concrete deck requires a strict stormwater management plan. Finally, plan your timeline carefully. Frozen ground limits excavation, so contractors must begin work by early summer to finish within the same season.
