"Working with DJ from Groundworks (Select Basement) has been an outstanding experience. After struggling with various contractors who either failed to resolve our water issues or were unprofessional, DJ and his team truly stood out. "My wife and I just had Oakland give us a quote, plan and then install, pour, a 8.5 cubic yard patio after removing the trex deck that it was time to retire around our inground pool. After removal of the deck it was discovered that there was electrical work that needed to be rerun to our pool pump house and a Jacuzzi we were replacing. And from the plan, to scheduling, to actually accomplishing the task, considering the bad weather we were having, everything was done professionally, and on time in spite of whatever obstacles were thrown in the way. I?ve reached out through text, phone calls and email and he just ignores me. About a week after he claimed to be finished the job the stamped concrete he put down started cracking and chipping all over. The stain he put down also started lifting off the concrete. He never cleaned the stain or concrete off my pool liner, fence or lamp posts.
