"Awesome hubby and wife duo! Will came to install a kitchen backsplash for us and it's beautiful! He and his wife have good communication, shows up promptly for the job and explains in detail exactly what will be done and how. I will definitely be hiring them again for more home projects!"

"Wise rented the equipment to perform the work of grinding the bathroom floor to allow the glass shower door to clear the concrete. Lots and lots of dust. Nothing was sealed or covered. Even the vanity drawers needed to be cleaned if the thick dust. He is very willing to take on jobs, but obviously a novice."

"Rogers was very friendly and professional. He returned my first inquiry call promptly and even texted to be sure i heard from him. We arranged for date and time... he was prompt and was able to make the repair the same day. We pre-discussed the timing so i knew in advance the options of same day service or not. He made sure to clear all work with me prior to performing anything different than we discussed at the start of the repair. Price he quoted was good... did not include materials - so that was additional when he left the bill. Ask about materials when you get quote. I returned home with repair done, area fully cleaned up."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Hire a licensed pool contractor in your area with ample experience in your particular pool design. Pool contractors will walk you through both the design and installation process. They will also recommend or hire a team of subcontractors to manage clearing the land, excavating for the pool, and adding all the design and electrical touches that make your pool run smoothly.

Yes, zero-entry pools are also referred to as beach-entry pools because the gentle slope leading to the water mimics the natural slope of a sandy shore leading to a lake or ocean. You can bring in sand or pebbles to truly capture the beach-like feel of a zero-entry pool.

Losing some water from splashing and evaporation is normal. However, if you notice a rapid drop in the water level or are adding water more frequently than usual, you might have a leak. Other common signs of a pool leak include:

  • Unexplained soft, mushy, or wet spots in the yard.

  • Cracks in the pool's structure or falling tiles.

  • Higher-than-normal water bills.

  • Persistent algae growth or water discoloration.

  • Standing water near the pump, pipes, or other pool equipment.

You should avoid filling your pool overnight—just as a precaution. You’ll want someone around to check on the progress. If your hose springs a leak or you overfill your pool, you could end up with some costly water damage. At worst, you could flood your home’s foundation. For this reason, ensure someone is home and awake, even if your pool takes a couple of days to fill.

Size is the main difference between a pool and a spool. Spools are typically about half the size of an average pool, so they’re ideal for yards without the space for a full-sized pool. Spools are also easier to heat, so they tend to be a higher temperature than pools and can be adjusted to get as hot as a spa when it’s time for a relaxing soak. Spools also contain jets and blowers, while most pools do not.
