"Dan and Mike were honest, upfront, and professional. We hired them to do a few small things and decided to have them do other work that we had been thinking about getting completed eventually. They gave us reasonable options, worked around our schedule and upfront with all expenses and labor costs. We have recommended them to many friends and already have other projects they are looking at for us."

"I was looking for a handyman to replace/repair some flashing on my roof. Rob Warner called me quickly and was able to come out and give me an estimate within a day. I was happy with the price quoted. He did the job while I was at work, and I am pleased with the results. I would definitely hire him again."

"John returned my call promptly and said he would be there to complete the job later that afternoon showed up as promised. When he got there he rehung my 12 foot piece of facia explained why it fell down and made sure that it wouldn’t happen again by securing another piece. John Wright was professional did exactly what he said he would do. I would definitely hire him again. thanks John."

"Sam was very responsive to my situation. Great customer service, little to no clean-up and very, very competitive pricing. I had a gas water heater removed and an electric one installed. In just about an hour!"

I am one that loves to learn how things work and how to make them better. I install vinyl flooring, light carpentry, small to medium home repairs, plumbing, drywall, baseboard and crown molding trim, door repairs and replacements and more as the opportunities come.

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Some pool professionals recommend adding an extra layer of comfort and protection between your pool and the vinyl liner. Made from a range of plastic blends, these liners can absorb moisture, allow the pool liner to breathe, and act as an extra barrier for pests, burrowing animals, and mildew. They also provide an extra layer of comfort for swimmers.

Pool water—or rather, the chlorine in pool water—generally doesn’t damage artificial grass. This type of grass is made from plastic fibers that are incredibly resilient. That said, you can damage artificial grass around a pool in other ways. For example, the sun’s reflection off a window or fence can melt polyethylene fibers. A temporary pool can flatten and cause an indent in turf.

The average pool loses one-eighth of an inch of water every day. However, how much your pool will lose depends on various factors, such as water temperature, climate, and weather. Warm water will evaporate more quickly than cold water, and pools in low-humidity climates will experience faster evaporation. However, this doesn’t mean you’ll need to constantly refill your pool.

Technically, you can fill in a pool yourself—with the caveat that filling in a pool requires the ability to drain the pool properly and move a substantial amount of dirt, which aren’t beginner DIY skills. If you want to fill in a pool, you’re better off hiring a local pool removal professional.

If a pool turns green after adding salt, there’s a good chance the salt is the problem. Certain brands of salt have high levels of iron that cause pool water to take on a green hue. Test your pool water to determine if this is the issue. The green color will usually filter out. Brush the sides of the pool to knock the iron off.

This is just one reason a pool can turn green that is specific to adding salt. Many other reasons a pool can turn green include algae growth, low chlorine levels, a faulty filter, etc.
