M. Wolf's Landcaping and Snow Plowing

Overpriced and not a very good job.. I paid $70 for this particular simple mow. Seem like nice guys, over the phone though..

Prompt and efficient.

We hired this company mid July when we moved into our new house. He said he would stop by and take a look and then give me a price. He gave me a price the next day, we agreed on him starting the following day. He mowed once and then sent me a message stating that he needed more money because he didn't realize how large the yard was (he never actually looked at it), I agreed to more because it was mid season and difficult to find landscapers. He came two weeks in a row, and then we didn't see him for two weeks until I contacted him to mow again. I then had to reach out every time I wanted the lawn mowed and heard an excuse as to why he couldn't come every time...e.g. once he said the rash was too wet, when it hadn't rained. Then he said his help didn't show, several times he just flat out ignored my request. The most recent time he showed up, it took me reaching out three times ...and he only did a small part of our yard (I assume he thought we wouldn't notice because we weren't home, but we have a camera that shows our entire back yard.) I will never hire this company again and would not recommend this company to anyone else. I tried to give him several chances to redeem himself, but each time was a fail.

This is our first experience hiring a landscaper pro. We are not having a good experience.

I feel I was overcharged. I paid $350.00 plus tax. They were here for 20 minutes. They did weed-whack my ditch. I thought they would use real posts to tie back my grape vines. What they used, however, were spindly little posts, and they tied the vines up with string. They borrowed scissors and did not return them. I am disappointed in the work that was done and also in myself for not being more cautious.

What I liked about M. Wolf Landscaping was that he daily kept on contact with me regarding my landscape job as the weather changed daily. He came as quickly as the weather permitted. His staff completed the job with a timely manner. I have learned, however, for future reference when contracting any type of landscaper to be very sure that everyone is clear on what needs to be done. In this case, while the job was done to my satisfaction, the communication on how much I wanted my bushes to be trimmed was not clear between both parties. M. Wolf, however, was agreeable to complete the job to my satisfaction, however, the rate changed from the original quote.

I live out of state, M. Wolf landscaping was hired to maintain my mom's vacant property. The communication and service was constant dependable. The price was fare.

I think Mitch himself is a great communicator and professional, the 2 landscapers that come they are amazing

Mitch called 2 min after I posted request. Was here in an hour to quote. We discussed, and he did the small yard cleanup job Next Day. Prompt, friendly crew, gone in hour and a half. I Invited him back next year. I'm not feeling any of the other bad raps from other reviewers...young clean cut guy who looks you in the eye when he talks. Recommended.

Mitchell Wo would f he quoted me a price and when he got here he kept going up on the price and he was constantly asking me are you going to write the check and it looked like no work was done on anything and I was sad that I hired him and I would not recommend this company to anyone because he did not want to please the customer and he just wanted to get paid for work that was not done and he was rushing me to write the check and I had to hire another landscaper to do all of the work that he did not do and the did an excellent job and I would recommend this other company to anyone and I have learned a lot about what I want and what I need from a landscaper and it is not Mitchell Wolf company because he is not here tor the customer. service.

Mitch was originally hired to mow/trim the yard. He did part of the work and had to be called back to complete it. Since the first time, he has mowed/trimmed fine. We also asked for a price to remove shrubs/trees/limbs. He quoted in the high $700s to do work. He did not do work, was there for 2 hours, and barely touched the work and then said he would have to charge more if we wanted him to finish what the work he provided us a quote for. Would not hire him to do landscaping but his mowing/trimming skills are good.

Mitch Wolf gave me the estimate on Monday, started the job on Tuesday. Cut down a small tree, pulled out overgrown shrubs, did a fall cleanup and made flower beds on west side of house. I was very pleased..the job was done quickly and efficiently.

Mitch called immediately after I submitted my request on HomeAdvisor and was at my home the next day to complete my landscaping request. They did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone who needs landscaping done well and quickly!

Even though Mr. M. Wolf did my garden landscaping in the rain, until the job was completed, I was quite impressed of his dedication of getting the work completed. His reliability was over the top. My garden clean up for the spring because of his reliability, and work well done, are to be commended. My garden now looks great and the cleaning up of all of the winter's damage of branches, leaves and debris were cleaned up well. I would recommend Mr. M. Wolf's work highly. A job well done!

Do not waste your time and money on this --fly by night-- character!! I hired M. Wolfs to do fall cleanup, mulch, and mow. He --mowed--he backyard with a weed-whacker and left the dead tall grass clippings on top of our lawn, and said, --I will be back in the spring to remove the clippings, mow it with a lawnmower, and do the edging-- He assured me that it would not hurt the lawn and no one will see the edging under the snow anyway. He also tried to mulch only the front half of the flower beds so they appear to be done, and he told me that he was done and wanted to be paid. I saw how he tried to get by with only a half done job, and I demanded that he also mulch the back half before he left. Also, at first he agreed to weed the garden which was very small and he also tried to leave without doing that either. Well, it is springtime so I called him to see if he was still going to finish my yard. He stopped over and told me that he would either remove the dead grass and mow it, or how he might just mow it. The dead grass was very compacted and was pushing down the good grass in large patchy areas. I could not believe he said that he might just mow over it, because the mower would not pick the dead grass up at all. He pulled a small patch of the dead grass up and we both saw how it tore away from the good grass, and the grass underneath it was very thin and already dying. I told him that it needs to be removed and that he had to seed the bare patches after the grass was exposed. He quoted me $650.00 to do the spring cleanup, mow, remove the dead grass and seed the patches, mulch, and re-edge the flower garden. I saw that it was too high of a price, and that I already paid him over $500.00 for the last job that he did but did not finish. I did not want him to repeat the same experience with him and the last job all over again, so I told him to finish last falls job before I would consider another job. He said he was a man of his word and will definitely be over to finish it today. Well, he never showed up and is not returning my calls.

Mr. Wolf is very reliable and dependable. He is easy to work with and if I have any questions, Mr. Wolf always gets back in a timely manner. I used him for maintaining and cutting my grass and he worked out so well I asked him to stay on for snow removal. His prices are reasonable I would definitely recommend his services.

We have strange snowfalls in NW PA and Mr. Wolf arrived on time and in time for each snowfall! He and his partner Adam, do a great job each time. We share a long common driveway with a neighbor and he is just as satisfied. He keeps careful service records that always match ours!
