Owner and operator Raymond Hepp believes that one of the biggest advantages of Betterliving is its ability to combine highly competitive pricing with first-rate service. Ray started Betterliving Patio and Sunrooms in 1999 after years of selling sunrooms for another company. He decided it was time for him to branch out on his own. He believes in providing the customer with affordable, quality products and materials made and manufactured in the USA. Betterliving is exclusive and the quality, local manufactured products cannot be bought anywhere else. Parts and products are constantly being scrutinized for the best technology and quality available. Ray believes in using only the best quality for his customers. He never compromises on the quality of products and services. Maintaining customer satisfaction is a crucial aspect of Betterliving Patio and Sunrooms. "Ray and the entire team were excellent! I had previously received an estimate from another company, but they used subcontractors for the actual work and this concerned me. Another company came out and took measurements, but never gave me an estimate. I got the feeling the job was too big for them. I was now really hesitant to trust anyone to do the work and wanted to make sure they were going to do it right. I went to the BBB and found Betterliving with an A+ rating. From the beginning, I felt comfortable. They explained everything, were more than open to additional phone calls to clarify any questions I had and gave me an estimate very quickly. While I knew the work would not be started for several months, I received weekly phone calls from Michele, so I felt informed the whole time. They even took care of the permit that was required, so I didn't have to do any paperwork, handle the fee or answer questions. Mike was great about getting the measurements and he let me know the work would not start until he made sure all of the pieces were available. Frank was super with the installation. He treated the entire project as if he were working on his own home. The payments were done over the duration of the project, so I didn't feel like I was handing over my money without anything in return. And the final payment was not due until I was satisfied with the work completed. The warranty provided on the materials was excellent. I'm happy I decided on Betterliving and have been enjoying my patio cover every chance I get! A long time dream is finally a reality."

"I would not recommend this company. I hired them last year, Spring 2024 to do a stone patio for me. I got three quotes and immediately decided to go with Joey. He told me how he was just starting out with this business, and since my father was a small business owner and also did landscaping, I felt a connection. The work was done sufficiently and I also recommended him to three of my neighbors, who also all used him right away. However, within a few months 3 of the 4 of us had issues or things that needed fixed, which were under warranty still, and he gave us the run around. He never got back to one of my neighbors with a broken endcap, despite them calling and making multiple attempts. He at least came over to "check" my issue and said he would come back to fix it but kept scheduling and canceling and then eventually just stopped answering. I am very disappointed and wrote him a message letting him know, which he never replied to as well- showing he obviously doesn't care. "
