In addition, Adam was the only contractor that looked over the job to be done who alerted me to a potential problem that I could easily solve by myself. While he was finishing up my drywall work, I offered to hire him to clean out a short section of gutter by my front porch. He did this work and then refused payment. Lastly, when the drywall work was done, he charged me $50.00 dollars less than his estimate ( he had previously told me that his estimate was for the maximum amount he would charge and that the final cost could be lower).
