Small jobs welcome

"Chris Rende beautifully rebuilt and repointed our front brick stairs, which were falling apart. His attention to detail and professionalism are top notch. The finished result is amazing and adds so much to our home's curb appeal. Chris was very thorough in providing an up-front estimate for the job and thoroughly explained every step of the process. His masonry work is outstanding."

"John has done several relatively small jobs for us and has been great to work with. He has done some hardscaping with blocks, pavers and precast steps. He has also done some tree and shrub trimming. He even removed some debris from some of our previous projects. John is punctual, professional and very reasonably priced. He provided accurate estimates and was willing to allow us to add work during the jobs at reasonable changes in cost. We will definitely be using him again in the future!"

"My experience with Blue Mountain Trashout and Cleaning Service was exemplary. They gave me a great price. It was a huge job removing brush and a lot of tree stumps and tree pieces. Bill was extremely professional and did a wonderful job. I will definitely use them myself in the future if the need arises and recommend them to anyone looking for the services they provide."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Lead removal services typically cost between $1,000 and $5,000, depending on the extent of lead presence, the property size, and the complexity of the abatement process.

By using PPE, sealing work areas, and following containment procedures.

You may see specialty products for sale to remove lead dust, such as D-Lead surface wipes. But you do not need to buy a special cleaner just for lead dust. A regular all-purpose cleaner, like 409 or something similar, is sufficient for cleanup. Just make sure to follow the manufacturer's directions when using it and to dilute with water.

If the lead paint is in a place that is not easily disturbed and is not flaking or deteriorating, you do not necessarily need to remove it. Lead is toxic when dust particles or flakes from peeling lead paint are ingested. If people are not in the area with the lead paint, it may be safe to leave it in place. You still may want to consider encapsulation with a paint formulated for covering lead-based paint, just for an added layer of protection.

Lead exposure poses significant health risks, including neurological, developmental, and behavioral disorders, especially critical in young children and fetuses.
