"The 2 guys that came were friendly and quick. There price was very responsible compared to other vent cleaning services. ZACH-VAC charged by the square footage of the home. They did not charge by the number of vents in the home, like most companies do. This made their price lower than most. They used a vacuum truck to clean the vents. We also added the dryer vent cleaning service and disinfect for the air ducts. The house is 1164 sq ft with a particularly finished basement, which has air ducts. Our total cost was $600.00."

Customers say: Quick response

"I hired cleaning fairy after another company fell through on extremely short notice to do a one time deep cleaning of my residence. I was super impressed with how quickly they responded and were able to fit me in to do a residential home cleaning, and the attention to detail that they paid in all of the areas that I had shown them I wanted to be covered in my home. I was particularly impressed by after the cleaners left that the owner herself came back to my house just to check and make sure that everything had been done thoroughly and to my expectations. I was happy with the products that they used and they even offered to use some of the products that I had on hand that were more environmentally friendly, and took into consideration that since I was pregnant having a lot of chemicals in my home was not something I was comfortable with. They were a pleasure to work with and I will definitely be hiring them in the future!"

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

No, you shouldn’t let dog diarrhea dry before cleaning it. While cleaning the stain when it's dried sounds less messy, it can cause more harm than good. Old stains have a chance to dry into your carpet, and the smell can go deeper into the fibers. This makes removing old dog poop more of a headache to clean than dealing with diarrhea while it’s fresh.

Butcher block countertops are easy to clean. You can use basic household cleaning materials like soap and water. You can even use vinegar or lemon juice and salt. There aren’t many special precautions like other materials. For example, soap tends to streak stainless steel while acid-based cleaners can wear down quartz.

You’ve tackled the pee stain on the carpet, but that smell still lingers in the air. Yuck! Fortunately, you can use certain sprays to help remove the odor. A homemade baking soda spray, made with 1/4 cup of baking soda and 2 cups of water in a spray bottle, can help remove the smell of pee. You can also use an enzymatic cleaner directly on the pee stain to deodorize it.

The best method for keeping your grout clean depends on the level of staining or discoloration. For light cleaning, use warm water and a stiff brush (specifically made for cleaning grout).

Tougher jobs call for a one-to-one solution of white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Spray the area down, wait 5 to 10 minutes, then scrub with your brush. For even more cleaning power, add water to baking soda until it creates a paste and apply it before the vinegar. If the mess is too much, you can call a local tile and grout cleaner.

How often you clean a bathroom depends on how often you use it and how many people are in your home. In general, a bathroom should be cleaned once per week or every other week. But a bathroom deep-clean done at least every two weeks allows you to keep bacteria and mildew away.
