"I hired JLF Construction to finish some spackle and paint our nursery. I wish I never did. I had Jose come out to give a quote. He looked everything over and immediately shot of a price way too high for what the scope of work was. I was providing all materials and tools just needed labor. I told him we would think it over and get back to him. From that day on he continued to harass me with phone calls and texts wanting me to hire him. Finally I explained we felt the price was too high and we'd be getting additional quotes. He then negotiated down to what I thought was a fair price and we hired him. He sold me on how he had over 40 years of experience. Showing pictures of work he recently completed that we liked. We set up a day for him to come out and do the work. I was working when he had the availability and my wife was home. She text me saying there were 3 people here total and she didn't think it was going too well. She said she thinks I need to look everything over but he was demanding payment and wouldn't leave. I text Jose and explained I wouldn't agree to pay until I was home to see the work completed. To my amazement when I got home the room looked awful. He had let his 20 year old son who had no experience cut in the paint. Lines weren't straight, paint on my ceiling in some areas and other areas paint didn't even go all the way up the wall and it wasn't a double coat cut in. The white paint under showed through where they cut in. I immediately called Jose expressing my concerns and he started threatening me, insulting me and telling me I want something for nothing. He threatened to come to my house the next day. My wife who is pregnant was afraid so I agreed to just pay him. He then offered to send his son back out but he refused to come fix it himself since he wasn't the one who did the cutting in. I refused. I was so disappointed after seeing all of his great reviews. I wish I never came across his business. We had to pay a professional painter to come out and fix the issues. Luckily they didn't try to change and arm and a leg. If I could tell anyone to look elsewhere when considering these guys I would. Also, just a side note he had his sons wash out the paint in my yard causing my grass to die. I had them on camera the entire time doing it and asked multiple times to please stop since I pay for lawn treatments. This entire experience ended up costing me more than what we budgeted."

"We had cracks in the dyed mortar of the bricks above our garage. Grady took the time to match the color, even with the color having aged 10 years, and you would not even be able to tell that there was new mortar. If your project is anything like ours, you will not be disappointed."

New roof and gutters were complete in a single day on my home with multiple surfaces and pitch angels. Joe Guinter my project manager was very helpful, attentive of work efforts and communications. "BUYERS BEWARE! We were excited to sign the contract and really felt that this was the correct choice for a rental we own after reviewing feedback on Google, HOWEVER, we were so WRONG. Salesman assured us that was no difference between paying cash, credit card, money order, etc. To our surprise, credit cards ARE charged an additional 3 percent surcharge. This would have been nice to know after spending over 37,000.00 for a roof. Their response was, well we have no control over what the salesman tells you and there is absolutely nothing they can do about the surcharge. So as the roof was being installed we were told by the supervisor on duty that all the debris would be cleaned up upon completion but that did not happen. In fact our tenants sent us pictures of handfuls of nails, staples and debris that was scattered all over the gravel parking lot that surrounds the front and side of house. Called Bachman's the following day and they sent out a project manager to view the debris, but WE were REQUIRED to be there when he arrived. The project supervisor cleaned up some of the nails, but not all since he only had a tiny magnet and this is a huge parking area. He said the crew that installed the roof is from Trenton, NJ and he would need to send them out in the next few days to clean things up. He said that they use "hundreds of nails when installing a roof and if a hundred drop to the parking area, well that's pretty good", WOW! We were also told by the project supervisor that he was INSTRUCTED NOT TO LEAVE until he had a check in hand for full payment, even though the property is surrounded by debris, nails and staples. We did not have our checkbook on us at the time so he followed us home and waited outside our house until the check was handed to him. After giving him the "post dated" check, we told him to wait three days for the money to transfer to the checking account otherwise our account would be overdrawn WHICH HE AGREED TO. Needless to say, he cashed the check the VERY SAME DAY that it was handed to him, OUCH VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, now we are facing over withdrawal banking fees. The only thing this company cares about is the money (and they need it IMMEDIATELY) even though you are not happy that your property is surrounded by staples, nails and roofing debris. The picture below was collected from only a 3' X 3' area. We are current owners of a family-run business for years and have NEVER and will NEVER treat a customer in this manner. Please take our advise and STAY AWAY. Bachman's is way over-priced and we should have chosen one of the 5 other roofing competitors who were at least 13,000.00 less than Bachman's. LESSON LEARNED THE HARD WAY."

My favorite part was the communication between myself and Jessica, who was readily available by phone and text, which made it extremely easy to coordinate things and get my questions answered. She also worked with me on the financing aspect, which I appreciated. The crew did a great job and cleaned up well. The project manager, Danny, was also very helpful - he informed me that my chimney needed work and got me immediately hooked up with a mason they often work with. He also helped out when a fuse got blown in the house while they were doing work. Overall a great experience, and they have some of the most competitive pricing as well. Highly recommend! "
